約翰·多斯·帕索斯《曼哈頓中轉站》的互文性解讀

本文主要運用互文性理論來分析美國三十年代著名小說家約翰·多斯·帕索斯的小說《曼哈頓中轉站》與多個互文本之間的指涉關系,揭示出互文性理論對豐富小說內涵,加深小說意義方面起到的重要作用!堵D中轉站》是美國文學史上最具有原創(chuàng)意義和實驗性的一部作品;同時作為約翰·多斯·帕索斯的第一部代表作,《曼哈頓中轉站》以其創(chuàng)新性在美國三十年代文學中獨樹一幟。小說文本中豐富的互文表現(xiàn)形態(tài)提供了對其進行互文性解讀的可能性。本文通過分析互文手段—拼貼,暗指,引用,仿作等具體方式在文本意義生成與解讀過程當中的功能來揭示小說的互文特色。本文第一部分簡要介紹了約翰·多斯·帕索斯的文學地位及其代表作《曼哈頓中轉站》,同時縱向梳理互文性理論的學淵系譜,勾勒互文性理論生成、發(fā)展、嬗變的軌跡。第二部分通過拼貼、引用、暗指、仿作等互文手段揭示出小說的互文特色—通俗藝術的拼貼、立體主義的敘事方式、《圣經》故事的重述、對經典文學的模仿等。結論部分指出,在對《曼哈頓中轉站》的互文性解讀過程中,作者通過分析使讀者重新思考了《曼哈頓中轉站》,同時互文性閱讀構建出大量互文關系使小說具有極高的藝術性;從而為對現(xiàn)代小說的研究提供一條新的道...
