湯亭亭是美國(guó)當(dāng)代最具影響力及爭(zhēng)議的華裔作家之一,其作品一直倍受文學(xué)批評(píng)界的關(guān)注。她的首部著作《女勇士——生活在群鬼中的少女回憶》出版之后很快獲得了商業(yè)上和藝術(shù)上的巨大成功。小說全文以描寫一個(gè)美國(guó)出生的華裔女孩成長(zhǎng)經(jīng)歷為中心,以第一人稱的口吻,用講故事的敘述形式融神話傳說、回憶、現(xiàn)實(shí)及家庭軼聞為一體,講述了一個(gè)生活在美國(guó)的華裔家庭中眾女性成員的故事,展現(xiàn)了美國(guó)華裔婦女群體的現(xiàn)實(shí)生活及內(nèi)心狀況。這部著作不僅奠定了作者作為美國(guó)優(yōu)秀少數(shù)民族作家的社會(huì)地位,而且還引起了美國(guó)主流社會(huì)對(duì)華裔作品的空前關(guān)注�！杜率俊烦闪嗣绹�(guó)華裔文學(xué)的一個(gè)里程碑。本論文的論述試圖從女性主義以及后殖民主義的角度結(jié)合大量的文本分析,進(jìn)一步探討該小說中所體現(xiàn)的母女關(guān)系這一主題,揭示并論證女兒對(duì)母親的反抗及后來的認(rèn)同是她在種族歧視和性別歧視雙重壓迫下,在相互沖突的中國(guó)傳統(tǒng)文化和美國(guó)主流文化的夾縫里尋求種族和性別身份的結(jié)果,而美國(guó)華裔婦女作為社會(huì)和文化的弱勢(shì)群體,身處中國(guó)和美國(guó)兩個(gè)世界之間的兩難地位,只有認(rèn)識(shí)并運(yùn)用這一邊緣身份所獨(dú)有的優(yōu)勢(shì),相互扶持,緊密聯(lián)合,才能推翻她們長(zhǎng)期所受的壓迫,走出困境,以自己的聲音宣告自身的身份。全...
