《茫茫藻海》是二十世紀(jì)英國女作家瓊·里斯的經(jīng)典之作。作為夏洛蒂·勃朗特名著《簡·愛》的續(xù)篇，小說自問世以來便受到文學(xué)評(píng)論家的極大的關(guān)注。評(píng)論家們從不同的角度，運(yùn)用不同的理論對(duì)小說進(jìn)行了深刻而細(xì)致的闡釋。本文建筑在前人經(jīng)典解讀的基礎(chǔ)之上，以生態(tài)女性主義為理論框架，嘗試對(duì)小說文本進(jìn)行一次完整的解讀，揭示小說家創(chuàng)作過程中的生態(tài)女性意識(shí)。論文分為五章。第一章介紹作者、作品及以往對(duì)于作品的批評(píng)。第二章是對(duì)生態(tài)女性主義理論的綜述。在第三章中論文作者結(jié)合生態(tài)女性主義理論來探索小說文本中父權(quán)的建構(gòu)。父權(quán)的建構(gòu)體現(xiàn)在其對(duì)自然、女性和黑人的壓迫和統(tǒng)治上。第四章與第三章緊密關(guān)聯(lián)。其意旨是通過分析自然、女性和黑人的反力量來揭示父權(quán)的瓦解。最后一章結(jié)論部分建立在對(duì)文本中父權(quán)的建立和解構(gòu)的基礎(chǔ)之上，輔以對(duì)作者的創(chuàng)作意圖和個(gè)人經(jīng)歷的說明來揭示作家的生態(tài)女性主義意識(shí)。
