從文體視角看《了不起的蓋茨比》

文學(xué)文體學(xué)是連接語言學(xué)和文學(xué)批評的橋梁。基于對文學(xué)語言現(xiàn)象的客觀描述,文學(xué)文體學(xué)探索作品的主題意義和美學(xué)效果如何通過不同的語言選擇來實現(xiàn)和增強,從而有助于提供一種更為客觀的文學(xué)作品的闡釋和鑒賞方式。從文體學(xué)角度看,文學(xué)文本的價值在于形式和內(nèi)容的統(tǒng)一,因此,文學(xué)文體學(xué)專門研究表現(xiàn)主題的文學(xué)語言的選擇。就小說而言,文學(xué)語言的形式涉及宏觀和微觀兩個層面。微觀層面的文體分析審視諸如詞匯特征、語法特征、修辭手段、語境和句間照應(yīng)等; 宏觀層面的文體分析則研究構(gòu)建整部作品的方式,包括小說的敘述視角和人物話語的不同表達形式。本篇論文以《了不起的蓋茨比》的詳細文體分析為范例,試圖闡明一部小說的主題意義和美學(xué)效果是如何通過作者的語言選擇和敘述技巧得以實現(xiàn)的,從而證明較為全面的文體觀念有助于更好,更深刻地理解敘述作品的主題和文學(xué)意義。通過從文體學(xué)角度分析揭示《了不起的蓋茨比》的風(fēng)格特點,我們可以肯定,文體分析,既培養(yǎng)了我們對語言使用的敏感度,又為文學(xué)鑒賞鋪平了道路。因此,將文體學(xué)引入到文學(xué)闡釋和鑒賞中,使文學(xué)批評家具備適當?shù)奈捏w分析能力是大有用處、也是及其必要的。
