《白鯨》是由美國著名小說家赫爾曼.麥爾維爾創(chuàng)作的一部描述“人與自然,人與人,人與自我”三重關(guān)系的作品,它被看成是一部十九世紀(jì)美國文學(xué)中包羅萬象的百科全書。這部史詩般的宏偉著作以大題材、大手筆手法描述了人類與鯨魚之戰(zhàn)的悲劇式的海洋破壞之旅,包含了作者對(duì)于自然、人類以及社會(huì)關(guān)系的思考和理解。赫爾曼.麥爾維爾的《白鯨》充滿了對(duì)于生態(tài)危機(jī)的超前意識(shí),蘊(yùn)含了豐富的生態(tài)啟迪。在生態(tài)批評(píng)出現(xiàn)以前,對(duì)《白鯨》的研究,學(xué)者和專家主要把焦點(diǎn)集中在語言、結(jié)構(gòu)、寫作方法以及亞哈悲劇性英雄主義等方面對(duì)其進(jìn)行研究。之后,他們才開始用生態(tài)的方法對(duì)作品進(jìn)行闡釋,但是大多數(shù)人僅僅集中在探討人與自然關(guān)系的角度上來揭示:人類仇恨自然,只會(huì)帶來不可避免的悲劇,人類和自然應(yīng)該保持和諧的關(guān)系,揭示生態(tài)危機(jī),并呼吁生態(tài)保護(hù)等等,缺少對(duì)生態(tài)問題深刻的思考和全面的探討。本文根據(jù)魯樞元先生對(duì)生態(tài)的分類,通過“人與自然,人與人,人與自我”的三重關(guān)系來闡釋《白鯨》中的生態(tài)意識(shí)。本文共分為六個(gè)部分:引言部分簡要介紹了學(xué)術(shù)界對(duì)赫爾曼.麥爾維爾《白鯨》的研究,通過介紹本文與前人在研究側(cè)重點(diǎn)上的不同之處,指出生態(tài)三重關(guān)系研究的意義,說明本文的價(jià)值所...
