美國當(dāng)代猶太作家索爾·貝婁在美國文壇上占有十分顯赫的位置,被認(rèn)為是繼海明威和�？思{之后的又一位杰出作家。索爾·貝婁在其主要作品中均塑造了進(jìn)行不懈人生探索的人物形象;本文旨在探討《赫索格》中的主人公,赫索格擺脫異化的心路歷程。赫索格在飽經(jīng)生活挫折之痛、離群索居之苦后,逐漸陷入了異化之中,于是他在潛意識中開始了自我探索,以求擺脫困境。最終,他在死亡與生命的意義、愛心和群體生活的必要性幾方面獲得新的認(rèn)識。盡管他的探索并沒有完全解決他內(nèi)心的困惑,但這一探索使他意識到他必須接受現(xiàn)實,并投身于有意義的新生活中去。本論文包括五部分:引言部分介紹索爾·貝婁及其作為猶太作家對當(dāng)代文學(xué)所做出的巨大貢獻(xiàn),同時簡要介紹了《赫索格》及對這部作品的研究現(xiàn)狀。第一部分從哲學(xué)視角對異化的概念進(jìn)行了闡述。另外,通過分析赫索格異化的過程得出結(jié)論,認(rèn)為赫索格的異化既有不可避免的社會及人文因素,也有其自身的內(nèi)在因素。第二部分隨著赫索格的探索腳步來分析他的心路歷程。赫索格始終在尋找擺脫悲劇的出路,他陷入寫給各種人的書信中,無法自拔,但正是他無盡的探索使得他最終擺脫掉異化,回歸到現(xiàn)實中來。第三部分意在總結(jié)赫索格精神回歸的重要意義...
