在新時(shí)期所有的文學(xué)批評(píng)中女性主義批評(píng)具有獨(dú)特的生命力。沒有一種批評(píng)能夠像它那樣貼近生存本體論的關(guān)注。作為人類的一半——母親、妻子、女兒,女性不但是女性自身說不完的話題,也是男性說不完的話題。只要人類社會(huì)還存在,女性問題就永遠(yuǎn)會(huì)成為一個(gè)討論的焦點(diǎn)。用不著作任何一點(diǎn)夸張,女性的生存質(zhì)量直接關(guān)系到整個(gè)人類的生存質(zhì)量。正因?yàn)槿绱?從八十年代初關(guān)于它的話頭一提起,一直到今天,人們依然興致勃勃地探討它,不斷地深化它。據(jù)我所知,直到目前,在國(guó)內(nèi)還沒有哪一個(gè)作家或評(píng)論家對(duì)英國(guó)王朝復(fù)辟時(shí)期劇作家威廉.威徹利筆下的“風(fēng)俗喜劇”《鄉(xiāng)下女人》作過深刻的分析。該戲劇描寫了英王朝復(fù)辟時(shí)期貴族的風(fēng)流放蕩生活,也反映了家庭和婚姻問題。現(xiàn)在在人們的意識(shí)深處,人類社會(huì)仍屬于父權(quán)制社會(huì)。世界上不同民族、不同國(guó)家、不同種族或不同地區(qū)的婦女仍需為了獲得工作的權(quán)利、教育的權(quán)利以及婚姻的自主權(quán)而斗爭(zhēng),顯然,婦女問題是社會(huì)問題并需得到社會(huì)的關(guān)注,因此,本人希望能作一個(gè)嶄新的嘗試——從女性主義批評(píng)的觀點(diǎn),從共時(shí)性角度展開思考,抽釋出女性主義批評(píng)的模式化特點(diǎn),討論了劇中的幾位女性形象。以求使廣大的讀者能關(guān)注到該劇中女性人物的女性意識(shí)的覺...
