論唐納德·巴塞爾姆在《白雪公主》中的解構策略

唐納德·巴塞爾姆是美國最著名的后現代主義作家之一。本人在前人研究成果的基礎上,以解構主義為理論基礎,通過分析巴塞爾姆的后現代主義小說《白雪公主》,試圖探索并闡明巴塞爾姆通過運用解構策略對文本形式、意義和內容進行全方位的解構。 本文共分三部分。第一章 系統(tǒng)介紹了巴塞爾姆運用消解中心的策略來解構文本形式。通過運用文學拼貼畫的技巧,巴塞爾姆顛覆了傳統(tǒng)小說中的等級秩序,從而消解了小說的中心。本章分別探討了巴塞爾姆解構文本形式的三種文學拼貼畫及其意義:圖畫式拼貼畫、“現成物”拼貼畫及小說形式拼貼畫。第二章 從文體策略和隱喻兩個層次來論證巴塞爾姆解構了語言的功能,使語言變得不值得信賴,因而挑戰(zhàn)傳統(tǒng)意義的等級秩序,最終強調文本的不確定性。其后,進一步論證了巴塞爾姆解構文本意義是為了揭露現實的虛構性,顛覆代表統(tǒng)治階級意志的意識形態(tài)和價值體系,把大眾從媒體用語言虛構的現實中解放出來。 第三章 系統(tǒng)論證了巴塞爾姆通過運用互文性策略來解構文本的內容。本章首先指出巴塞爾姆的后現代小說《白雪公主》與同名的格林童話之間的互文關系,然后論證了巴塞爾姆是通過兩個文本在主題和人物上的強烈對比來解構文本...
