【摘要】：出版于2009年的《狼廳》是使英國女作家希拉里·曼特爾獲得國際聲望的力作。該部作品獲得當(dāng)年英國文學(xué)最高獎項“布克獎”和美國“全國圖書評論界小說獎”。《狼廳》以英國都鐸王朝時期的歷史為基礎(chǔ),創(chuàng)造性地選擇克倫威爾的角度進(jìn)行敘述。曼特爾寫作時既忠于史實,也采納民間資料,呈現(xiàn)出人物在歷史記錄背后鮮為人知的一面�；谟鴼v史和文學(xué)的比較濃厚的興趣,本人決定研究這部作品,探討其歷史、文學(xué)以及意識形態(tài)之間的關(guān)系。 在國內(nèi)《狼廳》尚未成為學(xué)界的研究熱點,而國外的相關(guān)論文也較少。本文從新歷史主義研究視角,運用文本細(xì)讀方法,從“歷史的文本性”和“文本的歷史性”兩個維度來深入分析《狼廳》中的六個歷史人物,并基于小說對它們的形象塑造進(jìn)行探討,發(fā)掘歷史記錄的多面性和意識形態(tài)的滲透性。 研究展現(xiàn)出歷史敘述的多樣性和動態(tài)性,提醒讀者深入思考?xì)v史、文學(xué)和當(dāng)代社會意識形態(tài)相互作用的關(guān)系,具有一定的創(chuàng)新性。本文從“歷史的文本性”概念出發(fā),分析作品中記載的與歷史書中形象相符的三個歷史人物,以及演義的與歷史書中形象不同的另外三個歷史人物。通過分析研究,指出作品中歷史記錄的多面性、復(fù)雜性和不可靠性。從“文本的歷史性”概念出發(fā),本文揭示作品在生產(chǎn)過程中受當(dāng)代社會意識形態(tài)的影響和對當(dāng)代社會的挑戰(zhàn)；宗教寬容、女權(quán)運動、身份認(rèn)同等社會意識形態(tài)在《狼廳》中得到一一體現(xiàn)。另一方面,《狼廳》也挑戰(zhàn)了當(dāng)代社會的歷史呈現(xiàn)的單一性、父權(quán)統(tǒng)治和性別差異、傳統(tǒng)文學(xué)寫作風(fēng)格。本文意在使讀者全面了解《狼廳》中關(guān)于都鐸王朝的重要歷史人物,進(jìn)而深入理解歷史記錄與意識形態(tài)的相互作用關(guān)系。
[Abstract]:Wolf Hall, published in 2009, is a masterpiece that gives British female writer Hillary Mantel an international reputation. This work won the Booker Award, the highest award for English literature, and the National Book critical Fiction Award in the United States. Wolf Hall, based on the history of the Tudor Dynasty in England, creatively chose Cromwell's point of view to describe it. When Mantel wrote, he was not only loyal to historical facts, but also adopted folk materials, showing a little-known side of the characters behind the historical records. Based on the strong interest in British history and literature, I decided to study this work and explore the relationship between history, literature and ideology. Wolf Hall has not yet become a hot research topic in China, and there are few related papers abroad. From the perspective of new historicism, this paper analyzes the six historical characters in Wolf Hall from the two dimensions of "the textuality of history" and "the history of text" by using the method of text careful reading, and probes into their image shaping based on the novel, so as to explore the multifaceted nature of historical records and the permeability of ideology. The research shows the diversity and dynamics of historical narration, and reminds readers to think deeply about the relationship between history, literature and contemporary social ideology, which is innovative to a certain extent. Based on the concept of "the textuality of history", this paper analyzes the three historical characters recorded in the works, which are consistent with the images in the history books, and the other three historical characters in the Romance which are different from the images in the history books. Through the analysis and research, this paper points out the multifaceted, complexity and unreliable nature of the historical records in the works. Starting from the concept of "the history of text", this paper reveals that the works are influenced by contemporary social ideology and challenged to contemporary society in the process of production, and that religious tolerance, feminist movement, identity and other social ideologies are embodied one by one in Wolf Hall. On the other hand, Wolf Hall also challenges the historical unity of contemporary society, patriarchal rule and gender differences, and the traditional literary writing style. The purpose of this paper is to make readers fully understand the important historical figures of the Tudor Dynasty in Wolf Hall, and then deeply understand the interaction between historical records and ideology.
