論納博科夫藝術世界中的時間

【摘要】:一直以來,納博科夫藝術世界中的時間受到研究者的普遍關注,并存在不少爭議。如關于公認的“時間監(jiān)獄”觀點,學者們對于人類能否沖破其束縛,如何沖破意見不一;納博科夫的時間觀是否來自伯格森生命哲學,是否與海德格爾存在哲學相通仍受熱議。目前學界也尚未就納博科夫對時間觀點本身進行系統(tǒng)、深入的探討,未形成相應理論。 基于以上研究現(xiàn)狀,通過梳理作家作品中關于時間、空間的表述,本文初步形成較系統(tǒng)的納博科夫時間觀理論:納博科夫認為人都生活在前后相繼、不斷流逝、空間化的時間之中,他把這種生存狀態(tài)稱為“時間監(jiān)獄”!皶r間監(jiān)獄”中的“時間”是“應用時間”,即被空間腐蝕的、沒有人類意識參與的客觀的時間。但納博科夫不認為人只能毫無希望地生活在“時間監(jiān)獄”之中,他渴望達到“純粹時間”的自由之境!凹兇鈺r間”是主觀意識參與的時間,是靜止的,非空間化的時間。生命中的過往、一切微小的注定滅亡的東西可以在“純粹時間”里得到保存。而從“應用時間”進入“純粹時間”的關鍵在于人的意識作用。通過出離自身審視世界,宇宙同步聯(lián)系世界,藝術重組改變世界,過去、現(xiàn)在和未來(他們的作品)在意識之光中被結合在一起,從而將“應用時間”的鐵牢打開了一道微狹的裂隙,超越了時間之獄。簡言之,納博科夫認為,人類的意識之光可以超越應用時間帶來的局限,達到純粹的時間境界。 在此基礎上,本文的第一部分還通過縱向研究,將納博科夫的這種時間觀和歷史上其他思想者的時間觀進行比較,并對學者們熱議的納博科夫時間觀與伯格森、海德格爾思想的關系作出一定的回應,以在宏觀視野中把握納博科夫時間觀的特質。 鑒于意識作用始終與時間觀密切相連,本文第二部分從“離魂現(xiàn)象”、“宇宙同步”、“藝術重組”三個方面分析納博科夫筆下人物意識作用的不同形式,探求他們怎樣用各自的方式將時間的鐵牢打開一道微狹的裂隙,作家如何在藝術世界中實現(xiàn)他的理想。 最后,在對時間觀和意識作用研究的基礎上,結合作家生平闡述了納博科夫對生存的理解,并對其時間觀進行一定反思。筆者認為,盡管意識作用不是解決問題的根本途徑,但納博科夫帶給讀者的最大震撼在于:他以藝術家的全部力量反思了存在的有限性,并以自己的方式進行超越。
[Abstract]:The time in Nabokov's art world has been widely concerned by researchers, and there are many controversies. As for the generally accepted view of "time prison", scholars have different opinions on whether human can break through its shackles and how to break through, and whether Nabokov's view of time comes from Bergson's philosophy of life and whether it is connected with Heidegger's philosophy of existence. At present, the academic circle has not systematically discussed Nabokov's view of time, and has not formed the corresponding theory. Based on the above research situation, by combing the expression of time and space in the writers' works, this paper initially forms a more systematic Nabokov's theory of time: Nabokov thinks that people live in succession and continue to pass away. In the space of time, he called this state of existence "time prison." "time" in "time prison" is "applied time", that is, the objective time that is corroded by space and without the participation of human consciousness. But Nabokov did not think that man could only live in a time prison without hope. He longed for the freedom of pure time. Pure time is the time in which subjective consciousness participates. It is static, non-spatial time. The past of life, all tiny doomed things can be preserved in "pure time". The key from "application time" to "pure time" lies in the function of human consciousness. By looking at the world out of itself, the universe synchronously connects the world, art recombines the world, past, present and future (their work) are combined in the light of consciousness, Thus, the "application time" of the iron prison opened a narrow crack, beyond the prison of time. In short, Nabokov believes that the light of human consciousness can transcend the limitations of applied time and reach a pure state of time. The first part of this paper compares Nabokov's view of time with that of other thinkers in history, and compares Nabokov's view of time with Bergson's. Heidegger made a certain response to the relationship in order to grasp the characteristics of Nabokov's view of time. In view of the fact that the role of consciousness is always closely related to the view of time, the second part of this paper analyzes the different forms of the role of consciousness in Nabokov's works from three aspects: "the phenomenon of separation from the soul", "the synchronization of the universe" and "the reorganization of art". Find out how they can open a narrow crack in the iron prison of time in their own way, and how the writer can realize his ideal in the world of art. Finally, on the basis of the study of the role of time and consciousness, the author expounds Nabokov's understanding of existence and reflects on his view of time. The author believes that although the role of consciousness is not the fundamental way to solve the problem, Nabokov's greatest shock to the reader lies in his reflection on the limitation of existence with all the artist's strength, and in his own way to transcend it.
