【摘要】：正在"賽珍珠(Pearl S.Buck,1892-1973)百年誕辰國(guó)際研討會(huì)"上,史學(xué)家詹姆斯·湯姆森(James C.Thomson Jr.)曾在其主題發(fā)言中指出:"自13世紀(jì)的馬可·波羅以來,歷史上還沒有哪位西方作家像賽珍珠這樣,對(duì)這樣多的人產(chǎn)生過這樣的影響。"(1)作為美國(guó)歷史上第一位榮膺諾
[Abstract]:At the International Symposium on the Centennial Birthday of Pearl S. Buckle (1892-1973), historian James C.Thomson Jr. "since Ma Ke Polo in the 13th century, no Western writer has ever had such an impact on so many people as Pearl Buck has ever done," he said in his keynote speech. (1) as the first man to be crowned in the history of the United States, he said: "No writer in history has ever had such an impact on so many people since Ma Ke Polo in the 13th century." (1)
