【摘要】：卡森·麥卡勒斯(1917-1967)是20世紀(jì)美國文學(xué)的重要作家之一。她的作品基本上都是探討感情隔絕、孤獨(dú)和無法達(dá)成的愿望這些主題。她的小說經(jīng)常通過塑造青少年、畸形人、邊緣人等人物形象表現(xiàn)這些主題。 卡森·麥卡勒斯只有23歲時(shí)就出版了她的第一部小說《心是孤獨(dú)的獵手》，并立刻獲得了好評。這部小說的故事背景是在美國南方中部的一個(gè)小鎮(zhèn)上，講述了孤獨(dú)的聾啞人約翰·辛格和一群被他的善良、同情吸引的人，包括咖啡館的老板，，急切長大的小女孩，憤怒的酒鬼，以及失意的黑人醫(yī)生等。他們每個(gè)人都向辛格傾吐心聲，而沉默的辛格也改變了他們幻滅的生活。本文借助及物性系統(tǒng)理論分析作品中主要人物的隔絕生活狀態(tài)，從而幫助讀者更好的理解書中人物所表現(xiàn)出的孤獨(dú)、憤怒和無助，以及更好的理解小說的主題思想。 本論文運(yùn)用及物性系統(tǒng)理論分析小說主要人物的孤獨(dú)和隔絕狀態(tài)。及物性系統(tǒng)理論隸屬于系統(tǒng)功能語言學(xué)，用于分析語言中的經(jīng)驗(yàn)含義，也就是人類所說的經(jīng)歷。及物性系統(tǒng)建立于動(dòng)詞可以按照他們所描述的過程種類而劃分的之一假設(shè)的。每種過程都有與之相關(guān)的特定的參與者，同時(shí)這個(gè)過程通常也建立在許多環(huán)境中。及物性系統(tǒng)理論為分析該小說提供了一種嶄新的視角和方法，可以幫助我們更好的理解卡森·麥卡勒斯的小說創(chuàng)作，特別是她的第一部小說《心是孤獨(dú)的獵手》。 本論文分為三個(gè)部分。第一部分簡單介紹了作者卡森·麥卡勒斯的文學(xué)創(chuàng)作歷程以及她的第一部小說——《心是孤獨(dú)的獵手》。同時(shí)也梳理了國內(nèi)外對于這部小說的已有研究成果，并對韓禮德提出的及物性系統(tǒng)理論進(jìn)行了概括和解釋。第二部分由五個(gè)章節(jié)構(gòu)成，是論文的主體部分，運(yùn)用及物性系統(tǒng)的六個(gè)過程（即物質(zhì)過程、心理過程、言語過程、關(guān)系過程、行為過程和存在過程）的相關(guān)理論，通過小說文本細(xì)讀的方法，分別對小說《心是孤獨(dú)的獵手》中的五個(gè)主要人物進(jìn)行分析，試圖揭示出他們的孤獨(dú)與隔絕感。論文的最后一部分是結(jié)論部分，對該研究的主要論點(diǎn)進(jìn)行了概括和總結(jié)。
[Abstract]:Carson McCullers (1917-1967) is one of the most important writers in American literature in the 20 th century. Her works are essentially about emotional isolation, loneliness, and unattainable wishes. Her novels often portray these themes by portraying characters such as teenagers, deformities and marginal people. Carson McCullers published her first novel, the Lonely Hunter, at the age of 23, and was immediately acclaimed. The novel is set in a small town in the middle of the South about lonely deaf man John Singh and a group of people attracted by his kindness and compassion, including the owner of the coffee shop, the eager little girl. Angry drunkards, frustrated black doctors, etc. Each of them spoke to him, and the silent Singh changed their disillusionment. This paper analyzes the isolated living conditions of the main characters in the works with the help of the theory of materiality system, so as to help readers better understand the loneliness, anger and helplessness shown by the characters in the book, as well as better understand the theme of the novel. This paper analyzes the loneliness and isolation of the main characters in the novel by using the theory of materiality system. The theory of transitivity system belongs to systemic functional linguistics, which is used to analyze the experiential meaning of language, that is, human experience. The transitivity system is based on one of the hypotheses that verbs can be divided according to the types of processes they describe. Each process has a specific participant associated with it, and it is often built in many environments. The theory of materiality system provides a new perspective and method for the analysis of the novel, which can help us to better understand Carson McCullers' novel creation, especially her first novel, Heart is a Lonely Hunter. This paper is divided into three parts. The first part briefly introduces the writer Carson McCullers' literary creation and her first novel, Heart is a Lonely Hunter. At the same time, the author summarizes and explains Halliday's theory of materiality system. The second part is composed of five chapters. It is the main part of the thesis, which uses the six processes of material process, psychological process, speech process, relation process, behavior process and existential process. In this paper, the author analyzes the five main characters in the novel "the Heart is the Lonely Hunter" through the method of reading the novel text, and tries to reveal their sense of loneliness and isolation. The last part of the thesis is the conclusion, which summarizes the main points of the research.
