【摘要】：《在西方的眼睛下》是康拉德的三部政治小說(shuō)之一。主人公拉祖莫夫是俄羅斯圣彼得堡大學(xué)的學(xué)生。他不善外交,專心學(xué)習(xí),不想卷入革命活動(dòng)。一次偶然的事件卻讓他身陷政治漩渦,由此開(kāi)始了他復(fù)雜的生活之路和心路歷程。小說(shuō)問(wèn)世后,受到了批評(píng)界的廣泛關(guān)注,而焦點(diǎn)主要在如下幾個(gè)方面:政治與人性、忠誠(chéng)與背叛、存在與虛無(wú)、語(yǔ)言與敘事。本文則試圖對(duì)批評(píng)家們論述不夠詳盡的兩個(gè)問(wèn)題作進(jìn)一步的闡釋:一是人何以存在,一是詞語(yǔ)的力量。這是該小說(shuō)探討的獨(dú)特性,又是小說(shuō)探討的普遍問(wèn)題。
[Abstract]:Under the eyes of the West is one of Conrad's three political novels. The protagonist, Razumov, is a student at the University of St. Petersburg, Russia. He was not good at diplomacy, devoted to his studies, and did not want to be involved in revolutionary activities. An accidental event led him into a political whirlpool, which led to his complicated life and mental journey. After the publication of the novel, it has received wide attention from the critics, and the focus is mainly on the following aspects: politics and humanity, loyalty and betrayal, existence and nothingness, language and narration. This paper attempts to give a further explanation of two problems that critics have not discussed in detail: one is why man exists, the other is the power of words. This is the uniqueness of the novel and a common problem.
