[Abstract]:From the perspective of ecological feminism, this paper reinterprets George Eliot's classic work the Mill on the Flores River. The full text is divided into three parts altogether: introduction, text, conclusion. The introduction deals with the significance of George Eliot's research and the current situation of domestic and foreign research, and gives a general review of ecological feminism theory as well as the general ideas of the article. The main body part is divided into four chapters, taking ecological feminism theory as the theoretical basis of the article, according to the idea of dividing the living space of human beings from the three levels of natural ecology, social ecology and spiritual ecology. Separate out the relationship of each part. The first chapter studies the relationship between nature and women in the novel from the perspective of natural ecology. First of all, it shows the changes of the natural environment around the Flores River before and after industrialization. Then, it discusses the characteristics of women in the natural ecology in the novel. The relationship between nature and women in the novel is clearly pointed out from the perspective of ecological feminism. The second chapter looks at the relationship between masculine society and women in the novel from the angle of social ecology. First of all, it points out that the meaning of the 19th century British society to women is still "family angel"; then, it discusses the characteristics of women in the social ecology in the novel-resistance or obedience; finally, The relationship between society and women in the novel is clearly pointed out from the perspective of ecological feminism. The third chapter looks at the relationship between female and self from the perspective of spiritual ecology, and makes a comparative study on the relationship between the male and self entangled in the Social Network. First of all, the author points out that modern people are polluted by "spiritual pollution", thus being contaminated with "civilization disease" and away from their true inner self, and then discusses the characteristics of women in the spiritual world in the novel. Finally, from the perspective of eco-feminism, it is clearly pointed out that in the spiritual ecology, the naturalized female in the novel is closely related to the self. Chapter four looks at the confrontation and fusion of men and women and nature and society from the perspective of ecology. In the conclusion part, the author discusses the author's understanding of ecological feminism and George Eliot's works-men and women, man and nature, harmony and symbiosis.
