【摘要】：雷霆超出生于1915年10月1日,是一個亞裔美國文學的開拓者之一。他唯一一本出版的小說是《吃一碗茶》,廣受亞裔美國作家、評論家的好評。雷霆超的《吃一碗茶》是第一部真實描寫美國二戰(zhàn)后紐約唐人街華人單身漢社會的小說。 在仔細閱讀文本、鉆研歷史語境后,本文把小說文本放在當時特定的歷史背景下來解讀。本文通過兩組詞語來解讀《吃一碗茶》中單身漢形象一必需：迫使、限制、生存迫使；奢侈：驅策、推動、欲望。 本文主要由五部分構成。國內(nèi)外文獻綜述組成第一部分。包括國外的綜述和國內(nèi)的綜述。第二章主要討論了必需的部分。小說里有兩個具有特殊意義的時間,一個是父親王華基結婚的年份,1928年；另一個是兒子王賓來結婚的年份,1948年。這其間的20年也正見證了美國種種移民法律的變化,這些變化都對當時的中國移民產(chǎn)生了重大的影響。這一章會把焦點集中在它的歷史背景上,也就是1930年到1950年間美國當局移民法案的變化對中國移民的影響。第三章給我們呈現(xiàn)的是奢侈部分。這一章把焦點集中在唐人街單身漢身上。美國排華法案排斥中國人移民美國,已經(jīng)移民美國的中國人也受到了種種限制。多年的單身生活使這群單身漢渴望性的滿足。王賓來婚后的性無能也使王家延續(xù)香火成為奢侈。第四章文本中出現(xiàn)的兩個意象—茶與私生子—都是對王賓來年輕時犯下的錯誤的懲罰。他必須自己“獨享”這苦果—妻子的背叛和私生子—來作為對自己年輕時犯下錯誤的報復。最后在結論中重述上面三個章節(jié)。美國排華法案的實施剝奪了中國移民的種種權利,而王賓來的性無能一方面是美國當局排華法案造成的,另一方面也是自己年輕時造成的苦果。
[Abstract]:Born on October 1, 1915, Thunder was one of the pioneers of Asian American literature. His only novel, eat a Bowl of Tea, was well received by Asian American writers and critics. Lei Ting Chao's A Bowl of Tea is the first real novel about the Chinese bachelor society in Chinatown, New York after World War II. After reading the text carefully and studying the historical context, this paper interprets the novel text under the specific historical background. This paper interprets the image of a bachelor in "eat a bowl of tea" through two groups of words: forced, restricted, forced to survive; luxury: drive, push, desire. This paper is mainly composed of five parts. The first part is the literature review at home and abroad. Including foreign and domestic reviews. The second chapter mainly discusses the necessary part. There are two special times in the novel, one is the year Wang Huaji was married, 1928, and the other is the year of his son Wang Binlai's marriage, 1948. The two decades have also witnessed changes in U.S. immigration laws that have had a significant impact on Chinese immigrants at the time. The chapter will focus on its historical background, the impact of changes in the U.S. Immigration Act on Chinese immigrants between 1930 and 1950. The third chapter presents us with the luxury part. This chapter focuses on single men in Chinatown. The American exclusion Act excludes Chinese from emigrating to the United States, and the Chinese who have emigrated to the United States are subject to restrictions. Years of single life have made this group of bachelors craving sexual gratification. Wang Binglai's sexual incompetence after marriage also made the Wang family to continue the incense as a luxury. In Chapter four, the two images-tea and illegitimate children-are the punishment for Wang Binlai's mistakes when he was young. He had to bear the bitter fruit of his wife's betrayal and illegitimate children in retaliation for his mistakes when he was young. Finally, repeat the above three chapters in the conclusion. The implementation of the American exclusion of China Act deprived Chinese immigrants of their rights, and Wang Binlai's impotence was caused not only by the exclusion of China Act by the United States authorities, but also by the bitter consequences of his youth.
