論《夜色溫柔》中的“男性氣質(zhì)”問題

【摘要】：“男性氣質(zhì)”問題一直是菲茨杰拉德研究中的一個(gè)焦點(diǎn)。菲茨杰拉德曾在一封私人信件中表示，他在創(chuàng)作過程中了受到男性氣質(zhì)“缺失”的困擾，時(shí)常處于一種“半女性化”的狀態(tài)。不少研究者也從“男性問題”入手，對(duì)其作品進(jìn)行了剖析：埃德蒙威爾遜批判了《人間天堂》缺乏男性氣質(zhì)的寫作方式，指出菲茨杰拉德如女人一般，，缺乏應(yīng)有的客觀抽象的思想，認(rèn)為他有能力寫出漂亮的文字，但缺乏男人“智性的力量”；H. L.門肯對(duì)《偉大的蓋茨比》中蓋茨比的男子氣概進(jìn)行了質(zhì)疑，將他比作“患有某種硬化癥的胖女人，有著膚淺的感傷癖”；弗朗西斯克爾也從敘事結(jié)構(gòu)以及敘事者心理的角度對(duì)《偉大的蓋茨比》中的男子氣概以及“情感性別”進(jìn)行了討論。不過，就主題與蘊(yùn)含更為多元和豐富的《夜色溫柔》而言，國(guó)內(nèi)外學(xué)者對(duì)其中的男性氣質(zhì)問題尚缺乏足夠的關(guān)注。因此，本文試圖以此出發(fā)，對(duì)主人公迪克戴弗墮落中內(nèi)蘊(yùn)的男性意味進(jìn)行解讀，從而加深對(duì)這部作品的理解與闡釋。 具體而言，本文運(yùn)用R. W.康奈爾的男性氣質(zhì)理論以及米歇爾�？碌臋�(quán)力觀，分析了主人公迪克戴弗按照其所處時(shí)代“支配性男性氣質(zhì)”的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)對(duì)自身的男性氣質(zhì)進(jìn)行形構(gòu)，卻屢遭失敗，最終走向了迷失和墮落的原因。本文認(rèn)為，作為一種“權(quán)力-知識(shí)”，一戰(zhàn)時(shí)期的“沙場(chǎng)勇士”和戰(zhàn)后的“男性人”等占主導(dǎo)地位的“支配性男性氣質(zhì)”以“男性真理”的名義對(duì)男性實(shí)施著形而上的暴力，以消滅不符合規(guī)范的男性他者。在“同一性”的壓迫和專制下，“他者”迪克淪為了流淌著權(quán)力的“男性真理”的客體，從而迷失了自己。同時(shí)，《夜色溫柔》的男性氣質(zhì)問題背后，還影射出了西方社會(huì)慣有的“哲學(xué)暴力”，從而引發(fā)人們對(duì)“他者”群體的思考和關(guān)注。
[Abstract]:The question of "masculinity" has always been a focus of Fitzgerald's research. In a private letter, Fitzgerald said that he was troubled by "lack of masculinity" in his writing and was often in a "semi feminine" state. Many researchers started with the "male problem" and carried out his work. Analysis: Edmund Wilson criticized the writing style of "paradise on earth > lack of masculinity", and pointed out that Fitzgerald, like a woman, lacked the objective abstract thought that he had the ability to write beautiful words, but lacked the "intellectual power" of men; H. L. manken's manliness to Gatsby in the great Gatsby. In question, he was compared to "a fat woman with some sclerosis, with a superficial sentimentality"; Francisco M also discussed the masculinity in the great Gatsby and the "emotional sex" from the narrative structure and the narrator's psychological point of view. However, the theme and the rich "night color" contained the theme. In terms of tenderness, scholars at home and abroad have not paid enough attention to the problem of masculinity. Therefore, this article tries to interpret the meaning of the hero, Dick Day F's fall, in order to deepen the understanding and interpretation of this work.
Specifically, this paper, using the masculinity theory of R. W. Connell and Michel Foucault's view of power, analyzes the shape of the hero Dick Dave according to the standard of his "dominant masculinity" in his times, but has failed repeatedly, and eventually leads to the cause of lost and depraved. "Power knowledge", the dominant masculinity of "the sand field warrior" in the first World War and the postwar "male man" in the name of "male truth" in the name of "male truth" in the form of metaphysical violence to eliminate the male others who do not conform to the standard. Under the oppression and autocracy of "identity", "the other" Dick was reduced to The object of "male truth" flowing with power is lost.
