【摘要】:英國(guó)作家D.H.勞倫斯(1885-1930)是20世紀(jì)最重要的小說家之一,他一生創(chuàng)作了12部長(zhǎng)篇小說、7部中篇小說、47篇短篇小說、12本詩集還有一些戲劇和散文,是一位多產(chǎn)作家。勞倫斯生活在英國(guó)工業(yè)化發(fā)展后期,其大部分文學(xué)作品都反映出工業(yè)革命對(duì)人類的戕害。勞倫斯在作品中高度關(guān)注男女關(guān)系和人與自然關(guān)系的和諧,深入探討了人性、本能、無意識(shí)的人類自我及血性意識(shí)等問題,表現(xiàn)出推崇原始主義的傾向。勞倫斯熱切懷念未被人類開化的自然,強(qiáng)烈反對(duì)工業(yè)革命。盡力喚醒被工業(yè)文明壓抑的人類與生俱來的能力及血液中流淌的本真自我。對(duì)勞倫斯來說,似乎只有如此人類才能復(fù)興,且活得更有活力,而不是被工業(yè)文明剝奪生命力。 本論文以勞倫斯的六部小說《白孔雀》、《戀愛中的女人》、《狐》、《瓢蟲》和《販馬人的女兒》為研究對(duì)象,重點(diǎn)分析這六部小說中對(duì)動(dòng)物化人物的塑造和對(duì)自然的描寫,并以此揭示出勞倫斯的原始主義傾向。 本論文共五章。第一章簡(jiǎn)要介紹了勞倫斯的生平及文學(xué)創(chuàng)作,綜述了勞倫斯研究的國(guó)內(nèi)外現(xiàn)狀,說明了本論文的主要內(nèi)容。 第二章主要分析勞倫斯六部小說中的動(dòng)物化人物塑造。本章從外貌、個(gè)性和內(nèi)心欲望三個(gè)方面說明了六部小說中人物與動(dòng)物的相似之處,揭示出勞倫斯小說在人物塑造中的動(dòng)物化特點(diǎn)。 第三章討論勞倫斯六部小說中關(guān)于自然的描寫,重點(diǎn)分析作品展示出的兩種自然:寧靜的田園式自然和令人恐懼的野性自然。小說中蘊(yùn)含著對(duì)兩種自然的仰慕。 第四章在前兩章的研究基礎(chǔ)之上指出勞倫斯小說中的動(dòng)物化人物塑造和對(duì)自然的描寫反映出作者的原始主義傾向。這種傾向具體體現(xiàn)在三個(gè)方面:對(duì)自然的仰慕、對(duì)原始生命力的追求、以及對(duì)無意識(shí)的原始自我的探尋。 第五章是論文的結(jié)論,本章總結(jié)了前文的論述,重申了本論文的觀點(diǎn),并指出勞倫斯作品中頻繁使用動(dòng)物化人物形象旨在體現(xiàn)人類與動(dòng)物的相似性,揭示人類的原始生命活力。勞倫斯認(rèn)為只有喚醒人類的直覺和原始自我,認(rèn)可人與自然的原始情結(jié),人類才能在虛假的工業(yè)文明中實(shí)現(xiàn)自我救贖。
[Abstract]:British writer D. H. Lawrence (1885-1930) is one of the most important novelists in the 20th century. In his life, he has created 12 novels, 7 short stories, 47 short stories and 12 anthologies, as well as some plays and prose, and he is a prolific writer. Lawrence lived in the late industrial development of England, and most of his literary works reflected the damage caused by the Industrial Revolution to mankind. Lawrence pays great attention to the relationship between men and women and the harmony between man and nature in his works, deeply discusses the problems of human nature, instinct, unconscious human self and blood consciousness, and shows the tendency of advocating primitivism. Lawrence eagerly missed the uncivilized nature of mankind and strongly opposed the Industrial Revolution. Try to awaken the innate abilities of human beings repressed by industrial civilization and the true self flowing in the blood. To Lawrence, it'seems that only in this way can man be revived and more alive, not deprived of life by industrial civilization. In this paper, six novels of Lawrence, White Peacock, woman in Love, Fox, ladybug and daughter of Horse Man are taken as the research objects, and the depiction of animalized characters and nature in these six novels is analyzed. In this way, Lawrence's primitive tendency is revealed. There are five chapters in this paper. The first chapter briefly introduces Lawrence's life and literary creation, summarizes the present situation of Lawrence's research at home and abroad, and explains the main contents of this thesis. The second chapter mainly analyzes the animal characters in Lawrence's six novels. This chapter illustrates the similarities between characters and animals in six novels from the aspects of appearance, personality and inner desire, and reveals the animalization characteristics of Lawrence's novels in the characterization of characters. The third chapter discusses the description of nature in Lawrence's six novels, focusing on the analysis of two kinds of nature: quiet idyllic nature and frightening wild nature. The novel contains admiration for two kinds of nature. The fourth chapter points out that the portrayal of animalistic characters and the description of nature in Lawrence's novels reflect the author's primordial tendency on the basis of the previous two chapters. This tendency is embodied in three aspects: admiration for nature, pursuit of primitive vitality, and exploration of the unconscious primitive self. The fifth chapter is the conclusion of the paper, this chapter summarizes the previous discussion, restates the viewpoint of this paper, and points out that the frequent use of animalistic characters in Lawrence's works aims to reflect the similarity between human beings and animals, and to reveal the primitive vitality of human beings. Lawrence believes that only by arousing human intuition and primitive self, recognizing the primitive complex between man and nature, can man realize self-redemption in the false industrial civilization.
