【摘要】：弗吉尼亞.伍爾夫是二十世紀(jì)初最富盛名的小說(shuō)家,散文家,評(píng)論家。她一直以來(lái)被人們認(rèn)為是二十世紀(jì)現(xiàn)代主義和女性主義的先鋒之一。在她59年的人生中,她出版了很多小說(shuō),散文,書信及評(píng)論,而其中的小說(shuō)《到燈塔去》被人們看做是意識(shí)流派文學(xué)創(chuàng)作的代表作。文中主要描寫了一次世界大戰(zhàn)后,拉姆齊教授一家和幾個(gè)親密朋友在蘇格蘭某島嶼上度假的一段生活。該文本多年來(lái)引起學(xué)者們的廣泛探討,角度不外乎從它的詩(shī)化語(yǔ)言,美學(xué)研究,象征主義和女性主義入手。 本篇論文則將運(yùn)用后殖民主義理論提出的觀點(diǎn),來(lái)分析文本中流露出的社會(huì)及政治因素,從一個(gè)全新角度剖析該作品所反映出的對(duì)大英帝國(guó)必然命運(yùn)的更深層次意義的探討。從后殖民角度來(lái)看,它既塑造了一個(gè)大英帝國(guó)的光輝形象,也揭露了它的特點(diǎn)及隱患,暗示這個(gè)曾經(jīng)的“日不落帝國(guó)”,在歷史的洪流中必將慢慢沉落,而《到燈塔去》實(shí)質(zhì)上是大英帝國(guó)一次注定失敗的命運(yùn)航程。
[Abstract]:Virginia. Woolf was the most famous novelist, essayist and critic in the early twentieth century. She has long been regarded as one of the pioneers of modernism and feminism in the 20 th century. During her 59 years of life, she published many novels, essays, letters and comments, among which the novel to the Lighthouse was regarded as the masterpiece of the literary creation of the school of consciousness. After World War I, Professor Ramsay's family and several close friends spend a holiday on an island in Scotland. The text has been widely discussed by scholars for many years, from the perspective of its poetic language, aesthetic research, symbolism and feminism. This paper will use the postcolonial theory to analyze the social and political factors revealed in the text, and analyze the deeper meaning of the inevitable fate of the British Empire reflected in this work from a new perspective. From the post-colonial point of view, it not only molded the glorious image of a British empire, but also exposed its characteristics and hidden dangers, implying that this once "empire without the sun" would surely sink slowly in the torrent of history. To the lighthouse was essentially a doomed voyage for the British Empire.
