【摘要】：約瑟夫·康拉德和弗吉尼亞·伍爾夫都是英國(guó)文學(xué)史上杰出的現(xiàn)代作家。他們?cè)诂F(xiàn)代主義小說(shuō)上的求新創(chuàng)作使其在世界文壇中獨(dú)樹(shù)一幟,特別是他們的代表作品《黑暗之心》和《到燈塔去》。這兩部作品很好地展現(xiàn)了他們的思考和創(chuàng)新。康拉德和伍爾夫不僅深入探索人類(lèi)的內(nèi)心,而且探求以最恰當(dāng)?shù)奈淖謥?lái)實(shí)現(xiàn)無(wú)形的思想。他們的探究與實(shí)踐為現(xiàn)代主義小說(shuō)的內(nèi)空和形式更加趨于完美的結(jié)合提供了絕佳的典范。 盡管約瑟夫·康拉德和弗吉尼亞·伍爾夫同屬于現(xiàn)代主義作家,似是在英國(guó)文學(xué)研究中卻鮮有人對(duì)二者進(jìn)行比較研究,這主要是由于他們?cè)趯?xiě)作風(fēng)格和主題表現(xiàn)上乍看上去迥然相異。本文作者是是著眼于二者的差異,對(duì)他們的代表作《黑暗之心》和《到燈塔去》進(jìn)行比較研究。 通過(guò)對(duì)文本的細(xì)讀和對(duì)其現(xiàn)代主義工作手法(敘述技巧、象征手法和人物塑造)的剖析,試得出結(jié)論：康拉德是現(xiàn)代主義先鋒作家,他為維多利亞小說(shuō)向現(xiàn)代主義小說(shuō)的過(guò)渡做出了貢獻(xiàn)；伍爾夫是現(xiàn)代主義主流作家,她完善了現(xiàn)代主義現(xiàn)代主義創(chuàng)作理論體系并與其寫(xiě)作實(shí)踐相結(jié)合,為我們拓寬了現(xiàn)代主義寫(xiě)作的新思路。
[Abstract]:Joseph Conrad and Virginia Woolf are outstanding modern writers in the history of English literature. Their novelty creation in modernist novels makes them unique in the world literary world, especially their representative works, Heart of Darkness and going to the Lighthouse. These two works well show their thinking and innovation. Conrad and Woolf not only explore the heart of human beings, but also seek to realize the invisible thoughts with the most appropriate words. Their exploration and practice provide an excellent example for the perfect combination of the inner space and the form of modernist novels. Although Joseph Conrad and Virginia Woolf both belong to modernist writers, there are few comparative studies of the two in the study of English literature. This is mainly due to the fact that at first glance they look very different in writing styles and themes. The author focuses on their differences and makes a comparative study of their masterpieces Heart of Darkness and to the Lighthouse. Based on a detailed reading of the text and an analysis of its modernist working methods (narrative techniques, symbolism and characterization), it is concluded that Conrad is a pioneer writer of modernism. He contributed to the transition from Victorian novels to modernist novels. Woolf was a mainstream modernist writer who perfected the theoretical system of modernism creation and combined it with his writing practice. For us to broaden the new thinking of modernism writing.
