【摘要】:朝鮮朝時(shí)期,稗說的創(chuàng)作在經(jīng)歷了兩個(gè)世紀(jì)的沉寂后,再次繁盛發(fā)展起來。朝鮮成宗時(shí)代,國家的安定使得士大夫文人擁有了心理上的安穩(wěn)狀態(tài)和相對穩(wěn)定的外部環(huán)境,儒學(xué)作為新的統(tǒng)治思想逐漸盛行,作為統(tǒng)治著的成宗設(shè)立弘文館并且為稗說的創(chuàng)作提供庇佑和支持,這些構(gòu)成了稗說創(chuàng)作得以在朝鮮朝興盛起來的外在的社會因素。而士大夫文人們對博學(xué)多識的追求,和在“閑居”“退居”的生活中對破閑止睡的需要,以及將稗說作為諷刺教化的手段這一創(chuàng)作目的,都使得他們對稗說的創(chuàng)作產(chǎn)生了切實(shí)的需求。在這樣的內(nèi)外因作用之下,朝鮮朝時(shí)期涌現(xiàn)出了大量的優(yōu)秀稗說作品,和諸多創(chuàng)作稗說的士大夫文人。 稗說作品的內(nèi)容反映出這些士大夫文人的思想。他們作為統(tǒng)治階層的一員,首先遵循的是傳統(tǒng)的儒學(xué)思想,儒家忠·孝·烈的道德思想、天命思想和文治主義的治國理念在他們的稗說作品中都有體現(xiàn)。同時(shí),稗說取材廣泛,貼近生活。作者以自己的所見所聞所知所感乃至親身經(jīng)歷為素材進(jìn)行創(chuàng)作。他們或通過正面的敘述,或通過詼諧的滑稽,或通過辛辣的諷刺,總是要達(dá)到教化世人的目的。作家創(chuàng)作稗說的目的之一就是諷刺教化世人,因此稗說中也集中反映了作家們的歷史意識和批判現(xiàn)實(shí)精神。在歷史意識方面,朝鮮朝的士大夫文人在稗說作品中表現(xiàn)出了很強(qiáng)的民族主義思想,同時(shí),對于歷史和現(xiàn)實(shí)的關(guān)系,他們也遵循儒家“法古通今”的態(tài)度。稗說作家們對現(xiàn)實(shí)的批判則集中在“對官人社會的批判”、“對好色兩班的諷刺”和“和對佛教偽善的揭露”三個(gè)方面,揭露當(dāng)時(shí)社會的弊端,引起世人的警戒。 稗說作家以自己的思想為靈魂,以手中的筆為工具,通過豐富的作品向讀者展現(xiàn)了一幅朝鮮朝社會的畫卷。這其中表現(xiàn)了兩班階層的善與惡,僧侶的世俗化,中人階層的成長和女性社會地位的改變。是這樣的社會現(xiàn)實(shí)孕育了稗說作家的思想內(nèi)涵,而他們的思想落于紙上,又為讀者展現(xiàn)了這樣的社會眾生相。 然而,作家在進(jìn)行批判的時(shí)候,通常沒有提出改良的辦法,或者說,作家本身也不清楚如何消除社會的各種弊端和不合理現(xiàn)象。同時(shí),在稗說作品中呈現(xiàn)出來的朝鮮朝社會眾生相中,已經(jīng)出現(xiàn)了社會秩序改變的現(xiàn)象,中人階層的成長和女性地位的改變,而在當(dāng)時(shí)的歷史條件下,稗說作家并不能清晰地意識到這種改變是一種社會進(jìn)步,甚至即將會帶來近代化的變革,這體現(xiàn)著稗說作家思想的局限性。

However, when a writer criticizes, the writer usually does not propose a way to improve it, or the writer himself is not sure how to eliminate all kinds of malpractices and irrational phenomena in society.
