【摘要】：從西方的歷史和文化來看，海洋被視為生命的搖籃，其重要性不言而喻。文學作品中的海洋總是可以影射出特定社會發(fā)展階段的深刻內涵。美國浪漫主義作家麥爾維爾的作品《白鯨》作為一部經(jīng)典海洋歷險作品同樣有著深刻的蘊義和啟示。超驗主義誕生于19世紀30至40年代，是美國文學史上的一個重要思想。其崇尚精神，認為自然和精神存在著對應關系，主張人回到大自然中去尋找生活的意義，接受自然的影響，以在精神上成為完人。 本文旨在用超驗主義的理論，以“海洋”作為切入點分析《白鯨》這部作品，揭示這部小說與美國超驗主義理論的關聯(lián)。以超驗主義為視角，本文的分析從三個方面展開。第一個方面:與超驗主義自然觀相一致，《白鯨》中的“海洋”具有象征意義，在小說中不同人物的視角下呈現(xiàn)出不同的內涵；第二方面，麥爾維爾對精神的強調和超驗主義思想一脈相承，主人公亞哈在與“海洋”相互斗爭過程中所展示出的人類精神體現(xiàn)了超驗主義對于精神的崇尚；第三方面，人與自然之間的關系是超驗主義者重點探討的課題�！栋做L》通過人類與“海洋”的交鋒影射出了三種不同的自然觀模式，三種自然觀模式的不同結局暗示了唯有超驗主義自然觀才能維系人與自然的和諧關系。 以超驗主義為視角分析《白鯨》中的“海洋”為重新解讀《白鯨》這部海洋經(jīng)典提供了一個全新的角度。通過研究，我們能夠在超驗主義視角下更好的審視《白鯨》這部作品，發(fā)現(xiàn)《白鯨》故事情節(jié)背后更多的探求與表達,而且能夠更加深切地體會到這部文學名著的藝術特征及其在美國文學史上的地位與價值。另外，，研究也給予了我們一個重要的啟示，那就是超驗主義自然觀所倡導的：自然是具有象征意義的，人類精神與自然并非對立，二者是和諧共生的關系。這個啟示正是本篇論文的意義所在。
[Abstract]:From the western history and culture, the ocean is regarded as the cradle of life, its importance is self-evident.The ocean in literary works can always insinuate the profound connotation of a particular stage of social development.American Romantic writer Melville's work Moby Dick as a classic marine adventure also has profound implications and revelations.Transcendentalism, which was born in 1830-40's, is an important thought in the history of American literature.It advocates the spirit, holds that there is a corresponding relationship between nature and spirit, advocates that people return to nature to find the meaning of life, accept the influence of nature, and become perfect in spirit.This paper aims to use the theory of transcendentalism to analyze Moby Dick from the point of view of the Ocean, and to reveal the relationship between the novel and the transcendentalism in the United States.From the perspective of transcendentalism, the analysis of this paper is carried out from three aspects.The first aspect: consistent with the transcendentalist view of nature, the "ocean" in Moby Dick has symbolic significance, showing different connotations from the perspective of different characters in the novel; second,Melville's emphasis on spirit and transcendentalism are in the same vein. The human spirit displayed by Ahab in his struggle with the Sea embodies transcendentalism's respect for spirit.The relationship between man and nature is the focus of the transcendentalists. The beluga whale insinuates three different modes of view of nature through the confrontation between man and the sea.The different outcomes of the three models imply that only transcendentalism can maintain the harmonious relationship between man and nature.The analysis of the ocean in beluga from the perspective of transcendentalism provides a new angle for rereading the classic of beluga whale.Through the research, we can better examine the work of beluga whale from the perspective of transcendentalism, and find more exploration and expression behind the story plot of beluga whale.Moreover, it can deeply understand the artistic characteristics of this literary masterpiece and its position and value in the history of American literature.In addition, the research also gives us an important inspiration, that is, transcendentalism of nature advocated: nature is symbolic, the human spirit and nature are not opposed, the two are harmonious and symbiotic relationship.This revelation is the meaning of this paper.
