【摘要】：長時間以來,華人在美國一直是作為沉默的主體被排斥在主流之外,這種在美國社會的不相容感,不僅加劇了自身對于中美文化的矛也使他們開始對自我產生了一種無所歸屬的游離感,尤其是對于那些出生在美國的新一代華裔。于是在自我意識強烈的萌動之下他們開始提筆發(fā)聲,以文學為載體找回自己的聲音,尋求一種身份的定位。身份對于他們已經不僅僅是一個政治概念,更是有一種關于精神層面上的文化意義。以聲音為起點,美國華裔作家試圖向社會展示自我、尋求自我,以找到自己的身份定位。 20世紀中后期以來,美國華裔作家開始嘗試著種種的寫作主題來探求自我的身份,他們在探求自己的身份過程中曾走過太多的曲折之路�？梢哉f,沉默了近半個世紀的美國華裔從孤獨的世界中走出來,在自我身份的困擾和糾結中發(fā)出自己的聲音,試圖找到一種無論是美國華裔還是美國社會都接受的一致的身份認同感。他們提筆寫作,以書寫的探尋開辟著確定身份的艱難之路,他們嘗試過以書寫在老一輩和自我的記憶中去找尋自我的身份；或者從家庭中找到自己的歸屬,找到自己的根性；或是寄予在中國文化的運用和改寫中來肯定自己的身份；他們甚至嘗試在書寫中的中西方傳統(tǒng)中去肯定自己的身份,向美國主流顯示自己的身份認同的歸屬。
[Abstract]:For a long time , Chinese in the United States have been excluded from the mainstream in the United States as a body of silence , which has contributed not only to their own perception of self - consciousness , but also to a new generation of Chinese origin born in the United States .

Since the middle and late 20th century , American Chinese American writers have begun trying to find their identity , and they have passed too many twists and turns in their quest for their identity . It can be said that silent nearly half a century of American Chinese come out of a lonely world , and try to find a consistent identity that is acceptable to both American and American society . They try to find a difficult way to identify identity , whether American Chinese or American society . They try to write in the memory of the old generation and self to find the identity of themselves ;
or finding its own identity from the family and finding its own roots ;
Or send it to the use and redrafting of Chinese culture to affirm its identity ;
They even try to affirm their identity in the middle - western tradition of writing and show their identity to the mainstream of the United States .
