【摘要】：E. M.福斯特是二十世紀最著名的英國小說家之一，在文學領域廣受贊譽。他的幾部著名小說不僅體現(xiàn)了現(xiàn)實主義的風格，也蘊含了現(xiàn)代主義小說的創(chuàng)新元素。福斯特為二十世紀之交的英國文學做出了重大貢獻�！队《戎小肥歉Ｋ固刈顬橹男≌f之一，，本文旨在分析小說中印度人的身份危機，這種危機體現(xiàn)為被西化的穆斯林知識分子阿齊茲和雙重邊緣化的印度婦女的身份危機。身份問題是二十世紀九十年代以來文化領域最熱門的話題之一。由于文化霸權和世界的不平衡發(fā)展，無論在殖民時代還是當今社會，人們都會面臨身份危機。由于強勢文化傾向于把弱勢文化看作并塑造為低等的他者，所以處于弱勢文化的人們常面臨身份的邊緣化和背離。通過分析小說中印度人的身份危機，本文闡釋了造成危機的原因并指出重建印度人民族身份和文化身份的途徑，旨在喚醒和啟發(fā)人們對當今社會類似問題的關注。本文運用后殖民主義批評和例證法分析印度人身份危機的具體表現(xiàn)和造成危機的原因。得出的結論是西方文化霸權和殖民主義造成了印度人的身份危機，而印度人重新構建民族身份和文化身份既有其內(nèi)部動因也有外部因素。盡管重構身份的過程中會有諸多困難和障礙，印度被殖民者終會通過不同方式來達到政治獨立和文化復興的目標。
[Abstract]:E. M.Foster is one of the most famous English novelists in the 20 th century and is widely acclaimed in literature.His famous novels not only embody the style of realism, but also contain the innovative elements of modernist novels.Foster has made a great contribution to the English literature at the turn of the 20th century. "A Journey to India" is one of the most famous novels of Forster. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the identity crisis of Indians in the novels.This crisis is embodied in the identity crisis of Muslim intellectuals Aziz and double-marginalized Indian women.Identity is one of the hottest topics in the field of culture since the 1990 s.Because of the cultural hegemony and the unbalanced development of the world, people will face identity crisis both in colonial era and in today's society.Because the strong culture tends to regard the weak culture as the inferior other, people in the weak culture often face the marginalization and deviation of their identity.By analyzing the identity crisis of Indians in the novel, this paper explains the causes of the crisis and points out the ways to reconstruct the national identity and cultural identity of Indians, in order to arouse and enlighten people to pay attention to similar problems in today's society.This paper analyzes the concrete manifestation of the Indian identity crisis and the causes of the crisis by means of post-colonial criticism and illustrative method.The conclusion is that the western cultural hegemony and colonialism caused the Indian identity crisis, and the Indians' reconstruction of their national identity and cultural identity has both internal and external factors.In spite of the difficulties and obstacles in the process of reconstructing identity, the Indian colonized people will achieve the goal of political independence and cultural revival in different ways.
