【摘要】：系統(tǒng)功能語法由韓禮德創(chuàng)建，并在語篇分析領(lǐng)域得到了廣泛的應(yīng)用。同時，它與文體學(xué)結(jié)合所產(chǎn)生的功能文體學(xué)引起了國內(nèi)外學(xué)者的關(guān)注。此外，本研究以艾米麗·布朗特的作品《呼嘯山莊》為分析對象。到目前為止，對《呼嘯山莊》的研究主要是從文學(xué)批評的角度出發(fā)，比如從女性主義和新批評主義的角度出發(fā)，但很少運(yùn)用功能文體學(xué)的理論對其進(jìn)行探討。 基于此，本研究試圖根據(jù)韓禮德的三大元功能思想對《呼嘯山莊》采用定量、定性、實(shí)證以及描述的方法進(jìn)行分析。這樣的嘗試具有一定的意義，因為通過對《呼嘯山莊》中概念功能、人際功能、語篇功能的研究，可以探索小說中突顯的語言特點(diǎn)及文體特征，進(jìn)而從系統(tǒng)和功能的角度為解讀《呼嘯山莊》提供新的見解。 研究發(fā)現(xiàn)，《呼嘯山莊》的文體特點(diǎn)可歸為以下三個方面: 就概念功能來說，不同類型的過程數(shù)量和分布與小說愛恨交織的主題緊密相聯(lián)。小說中使用頻率最高的過程類型當(dāng)屬物質(zhì)過程，它的應(yīng)用有助于體現(xiàn)故事情節(jié)的推進(jìn)。此外，占主導(dǎo)地位的過程類型是關(guān)系過程和心理過程，關(guān)系過程的運(yùn)用為讀者提供了不同人物間關(guān)系的微妙演變，心理過程則體現(xiàn)了人物內(nèi)心世界的變化，進(jìn)而也對故事情節(jié)的發(fā)展起到推波助瀾的作用。另外，言語過程生動地刻畫了人物間的爭論或討論，而他們爭論或討論的話題的轉(zhuǎn)變也體現(xiàn)了故事焦點(diǎn)的轉(zhuǎn)變。 就人際功能來說，本研究以話語為基礎(chǔ)，從微觀和宏觀社會兩個層面對小說中敘述者之間，敘述者與主要人物之間，敘述者、主要人物以及作者與讀者之間互動的人際意義功能進(jìn)行了分析。通過對小說前三章中洛克伍德與希斯克厲夫?qū)υ挼恼Z氣和情態(tài)分析，可以看出洛克伍德作為陌生人和讀者一樣對呼嘯山莊冷漠的人際氛圍充滿好奇和探尋。另外，作為第二作者，洛克伍德實(shí)現(xiàn)了向讀者揭開故事第一頁的人際功能，同時他所發(fā)現(xiàn)故事中撲朔迷離的重要元素為故事本身埋下了懸念。通過對耐莉與希斯克厲夫、凱瑟琳以及埃德加的對話進(jìn)行語氣和情態(tài)分析，發(fā)現(xiàn)耐莉不僅承擔(dān)了故事敘述者角色，同時也代表作者表達(dá)了她的道德價值觀，起到了聯(lián)系兩代主要角色間實(shí)現(xiàn)人際意義互動以及實(shí)現(xiàn)小說主題的橋梁作用。本研究還就小說的功能文體特色進(jìn)行了分析。本研究發(fā)現(xiàn)人際功能在體現(xiàn)小說的功能文體特色和實(shí)現(xiàn)小說主題方面發(fā)揮了至關(guān)重要的作用。 就語篇功能來說，首先，，《呼嘯山莊》中主位轉(zhuǎn)化證實(shí)了作者視角的變化。此外，標(biāo)記性主位使用頻率較高，這是因為人物的行為是作者的關(guān)注點(diǎn)。而對希斯克厲夫一系列復(fù)仇事件，小說中使用了復(fù)項主位和句項主位。與主位相比，述位則更加復(fù)雜。其次，基于主述位的分析，可以看到《呼嘯山莊》中的主位推進(jìn)模式十分復(fù)雜,因為小說中延續(xù)型、主位同一型、主位分裂型等推進(jìn)模式比比皆是。另外，信息結(jié)構(gòu)通過已知信息和未知信息的交互傳遞，與主述位結(jié)構(gòu)相互補(bǔ)充，共同為希斯克厲夫的復(fù)仇和凱瑟琳的悲劇結(jié)局埋下了伏筆。再者，銜接手段的分析對于構(gòu)架全文起到了至關(guān)重要的作用，五種主要銜接手段照應(yīng)、省略、替代、連接及詞匯銜接都可以在文中得到有力的例證。銜接手段的運(yùn)用，使文本更加流暢，并可使我們從中深入探討語篇元功能的應(yīng)用價值。 總而言之，本研究具有一定的理論意義和應(yīng)用意義。理論上，本研究證實(shí)了功能文體分析理論框架用于分析小說的可行性；應(yīng)用上，本研究探討了《呼嘯山莊》的文體特點(diǎn)，為元功能對小說主題的實(shí)現(xiàn)的研究提供了新的視角。
[Abstract]:Systemic functional grammar created by Hallidy, and in the field of discourse analysis has been widely used. At the same time, it combined with the functional stylistics and stylistics caused the attention of scholars at home and abroad. In addition, based on Emily Blount's works Wuthering Heights "as the analysis objects. So far, the research on" Wuthering Heights villa > is mainly from the perspective of literary criticism, such as feminism and new criticism perspective, but rarely use the theory of functional stylistics to carry on the discussion.
Based on this, this study attempts to according to Hallidy's three metafunctions of thought on Wuthering Heights > using quantitative, qualitative, empirical and descriptive methods to analyze. Has a certain significance in this attempt, because the concept of Wuthering Heights in < > function, interpersonal function and textual function of the language features and stylistic features to explore the novel highlights, and then from the angle of system and function for the interpretation of Wuthering Heights "provide new insights.
The study found that the stylistic features of Wuthering Heights can be attributed to the following three aspects:
On the concept of function, quantity and distribution of different types of process and novel love hate theme closely. Use of the material process is the process of the type with the highest frequency in the novel, its application can help to reflect the development of the plot. In addition, the dominant type is the process of relational process and mental process, relational process application provides a subtle evolution of different characters of the relationship between readers, psychological process reflects the change of the inner world of characters, and also an important role in the development of the plot. In addition, the verbal process vividly depicts an argument or discussion between characters, and change their argument or discussion of the topic also reflects the change the story.
The interpersonal function, on the basis of discourse, from the micro and macro social two aspects between thenarrator in the novel, the narrator, the narrator and the main characters, the function of interpersonal interaction between the main characters and the author and the reader are analyzed. Through the analysis of mood and modality of the dialogue in the first three chapters of Rock Wood with Heathcliff and Rock Wood can be seen as a stranger and readers of Wuthering Heights indifferent interpersonal atmosphere full of curiosity and exploration. The use of cohesive devices makes texts more fluent, and enables us to further explore the application value of metafunction.
In a word, it has certain theoretical meaning and practical significance of this study. In theory, this study confirmed the functional stylistic analysis framework for feasibility analysis of the novel; the application, this study explores the stylistic features of "Wuthering Heights", as the element function provides a new perspective on the theme of the novel.
