【摘要】:本文主要研究美國(guó)著名文學(xué)評(píng)論家克林斯·布魯克斯與羅伯特·潘·沃倫如何分析小說(shuō)的。他們分析小說(shuō)立足于作品本身,立足于作品的結(jié)構(gòu),從作品中挖掘文學(xué)性,這種小說(shuō)批評(píng)做法對(duì)當(dāng)前我國(guó)小說(shuō)賞析中那種大而無(wú)當(dāng)?shù)奈幕治觯,無(wú)疑有糾弊之功。同時(shí),研究大陸、港臺(tái)及海外漢學(xué)界的小說(shuō)批評(píng)家受到了布魯克斯和沃倫在小說(shuō)批評(píng)方面的哪些影響,如何用新批評(píng)方法來(lái)分析小說(shuō)的。 本文除緒論和結(jié)語(yǔ)外,分為五大部分:布魯克斯和沃倫小說(shuō)批評(píng)中的情節(jié)角度、人物性格角度、小說(shuō)的主題角度、敘述視角、我國(guó)及海外漢學(xué)界受到影響。 第一部分論述布魯克斯和沃倫如何從小說(shuō)的情節(jié)角度進(jìn)行分析小說(shuō)的。布魯克斯和沃倫認(rèn)為一片成功的小說(shuō)必然是一個(gè)有機(jī)統(tǒng)一的整體,而小說(shuō)情節(jié)自身也是一個(gè)有機(jī)統(tǒng)一體。同時(shí),小說(shuō)情節(jié)又不可避免的與小說(shuō)主題、小說(shuō)人物相互影響。這三者之間的相互作用,構(gòu)成了統(tǒng)一體:情節(jié)是動(dòng)作的結(jié)構(gòu)、是行動(dòng)中的人物、是主題的顯現(xiàn)。 第二部分論述布魯克斯和沃倫如何從人物性格角度分析小說(shuō)的。布魯克斯和沃倫認(rèn)為,小說(shuō)中的人物性格是連貫統(tǒng)一,同時(shí)又受到人物的行動(dòng)、人物的語(yǔ)言、小說(shuō)的主題等方面的影響。 第三部分詳細(xì)論述布魯克斯和沃倫如何從小說(shuō)的主題角度分析小說(shuō)的。布魯克斯和沃倫認(rèn)為,好小說(shuō)的主題總是全面滲透在整個(gè)作品中。小說(shuō)中的細(xì)節(jié)與所要表現(xiàn)的主題是一致的;作家的某篇具體的小說(shuō)的特點(diǎn)與該作家的一貫寫(xiě)作風(fēng)格有聯(lián)系;小說(shuō)的“語(yǔ)調(diào)”也表現(xiàn)著小說(shuō)主題。 第四部分論述布魯克斯和沃倫如何從敘事學(xué)角度來(lái)分析小說(shuō),主要分析了視角與小說(shuō)結(jié)構(gòu)和主題之間的關(guān)系。 第五部分大陸、港臺(tái)及海外小說(shuō)批評(píng)家如何吸收布魯克斯和沃倫的批評(píng)理論并用于小說(shuō)批評(píng)實(shí)踐的。大陸以樂(lè)黛云用“細(xì)讀法”分析《紅樓夢(mèng)》、王富仁對(duì)《狂人日記》的解讀為例;港臺(tái)以歐陽(yáng)子對(duì)白先勇小說(shuō)集《臺(tái)北人》的賞析、龍應(yīng)臺(tái)的《龍應(yīng)臺(tái)評(píng)小說(shuō)》為例;海外漢學(xué)界以夏志清的《中國(guó)現(xiàn)代小說(shuō)史》為例。
[Abstract]:This paper mainly studies how the famous American literary critics, Chris Brooks and Robert Pan Warren, analyze the novel. They analyze the novel on the basis of the work itself, on the structure of the work, and on the literary nature of the work. This kind of novel criticism has undoubtedly contributed to the large and undeserved cultural analysis in the appreciation of Chinese novels. At the same time, we have studied the mainland. The novel critics of Hong Kong, Taiwan and overseas Sinology circles have been influenced by Brooks and Warren in their novel criticism, and how to analyze the novel with new critical methods. In addition to the introduction and conclusion, this paper is divided into five parts: the plot angle of Brooks and Warren's novel criticism, the character angle, the theme angle of the novel, the narrative angle, and the influence of Chinese and overseas Sinology circles. The first part discusses how Brooks and Warren analyze the novel from the angle of plot. Brooks and Warren think that a successful novel must be an organic unity. And the plot itself is an organic unity. At the same time, the plot of the novel inevitably interacts with the theme of the novel and the characters of the novel. The interaction between the three forms a unity: the plot is the structure of the action, Is the character in the action, is the theme manifestation. The second part discusses how Brooks and Warren analyze the novel from the angle of character. Brooks and Warren think that the character in the novel is coherent and unified, and at the same time it is influenced by the action of the character and the language of the character. The influence of the theme of the novel. The third part discusses in detail how Brooks and Warren analyze the novel from the point of view of the theme of the novel. The theme of a good novel is always permeated in the whole work. The details of the novel are consistent with the theme to be expressed, and the characteristics of a specific novel of the writer are related to the writer's consistent writing style. The intonation of the novel also shows the theme of the novel. Part 4th discusses how Brooks and Warren analyze the novel from the perspective of narratology, and mainly analyzes the relationship between the angle of view and the structure and theme of the novel. 5th part of the continent, How the critics of Hong Kong, Taiwan and overseas novels absorb Brooks' and Warren's critical theories and apply them to the practice of novel criticism? the mainland takes Yue Daiyun's analysis of A Dream of Red Mansions with "reading carefully" and Wang Furen's interpretation of "the Diary of the Mad Man" as an example. Hong Kong and Taiwan take Ouyang Zi's appreciation of Bai Xianyong's novels "the Taipei people" as an example, long Ying-tai 's "A Review of long Ying-tai 's novels" as an example, and overseas Sinology circles take Xia Zhiqing's "History of Modern Chinese novels" as an example.
