【摘要】：理查德·賴特享有“美國黑人文學之父”的美譽,其代表作《土生子》被譽為黑人文學的里程碑。賴特及其作品《土生子》是國內(nèi)外學術(shù)界長期研究的重要課題,已有不少優(yōu)秀研究成果問世。這些成果從不同的角度和側(cè)面對作家及其作品進行了研究,并促進了賴特研究的廣度和深度。雖然我國的學術(shù)界,已有不少研究《土生子》的成果問世,但是鮮有學者從接受美學中讀者的期待視野角度來挖掘為什么這么多年來《土生子》會受到人們的普遍認可和高度評價。本文試圖從接受美學角度出發(fā),結(jié)合《土生子》中的關(guān)鍵人物、小說主題以及藝術(shù)手法等,分析了賴特在創(chuàng)作之前預設(shè)的讀者期待視野、創(chuàng)作出來的作品本身具有的潛在的讀者期待視野以及讀者的期待視野對日后作品挖掘具有的研究意義和價值。 本文除前言和結(jié)論外共有三個章節(jié)。第一章展現(xiàn)了作者對所處時代和不同種族生活狀況的完美解讀,同時分析賴特是如何選擇種族歧視作為《土生子》的主題來達到預設(shè)的讀者期待視野。第二章主要論證小說中的創(chuàng)新手法是用來突出別格這一新的黑人形象,獨樹一幟的象征以及小說中的四種聲音都形成了潛在的讀者視野。第三章旨通過分析《土生子》中典型角色,種族主題和藝術(shù)特點的持久性來體現(xiàn)作品本身蘊藏的讀者期待視野的研究意義和價值。 由于篇幅有限,本文只是淺顯的從接受美學角度分析了作品,未能展開非常深入透徹的分析,但是本論文的的成果在一定程度上填補了我國學術(shù)界從讀者視角分析《土生子》的空白,并對賴特的研究做出了貢獻。
[Abstract]:Richard Wright is known as the Father of American Black Literature. His masterpiece, Native son, is regarded as a milestone in black literature. Wright and his work, Native son, have long been an important subject of academic research both at home and abroad. Many excellent research results have been published. These achievements have studied writers and their works from different angles and facets, and promoted the breadth and depth of Wright's research. There have been many achievements in the study of native-born children. However, few scholars from the perspective of readers' expectation in receptive aesthetics try to find out why native-born children have been generally recognized and highly appraised for so many years. This paper tries to start from the perspective of receptive aesthetics. Combined with the key characters, the theme of the novel and the artistic techniques in Native son, this paper analyzes Wright's vision of readers' expectation before he created it. The work itself has the potential readers' horizon of expectation and the research significance and value of the readers' vision of expectation for the future works. In addition to the preface and conclusion, there are three chapters in this paper. The first chapter shows the author's perfect interpretation of the living conditions of his time and race. At the same time, it analyzes how Wright chooses racial discrimination as the theme of Native son in order to achieve a preset vision of readers' expectation. Chapter two mainly demonstrates that the innovative techniques in the novel are used to highlight the new black image of Beagle. The unique symbolism and the four sounds in the novel all form a potential reader's view. Chapter three analyzes the typical characters in Native son. The persistence of racial themes and artistic features reflects the significance and value of the readers' horizon of expectation contained in the works. Because of the limited space, this paper simply analyzes the works from the perspective of reception aesthetics, and fails to carry out a very thorough analysis. However, to some extent, the achievements of this thesis fill the blank in the analysis of Native son from the perspective of readers, and contribute to Wright's research.
