【摘要】：威廉·�？思{是美國著名的作家，一生創(chuàng)作了《八月之光》、《喧囂與騷動》、《獻(xiàn)給艾米麗的玫瑰》等多部作品�！度グ桑ξ鳌肥歉？思{重要作品之一，這部作品向我們講述了多個(gè)家庭的故事。其中突出了作者對父權(quán)制、種族和婦女問題的關(guān)注�！度グ桑ξ鳌芬鹆藝鴥�(nèi)外眾多學(xué)者的關(guān)注。然而傳統(tǒng)的研究過于側(cè)重于文本內(nèi)部的諸多要素，而忽視了文本之外的內(nèi)容和文本本身的復(fù)雜性。社會歷史因素制約著文學(xué)文本的生成，文學(xué)文本同樣參與社會文化的建構(gòu)。文學(xué)文本與非文學(xué)文本即社會文本之間不再是相互對立的，而是一種相互建構(gòu)、互為補(bǔ)充的關(guān)系。鑒于此，本論文通過考察歷史與文學(xué)之間的關(guān)系，嘗試從新歷史主義的角度出發(fā)，分析作品中展示的社會生活、種族問題、婦女問題等。本文主要分為以下五個(gè)部分： 引言部分通過考察�？思{作品，尤其是福克納作品的國內(nèi)外研究現(xiàn)狀，總結(jié)前人的研究成果和知識空白，論述了從新歷史主義視角下研究福克納小說《去吧，摩西》的必要性和可行性，并介紹了相關(guān)研究方法、理論基礎(chǔ)、預(yù)期目標(biāo)和總體框架。這部分詳細(xì)論述了新歷史主義文論，包括其基本概念，獨(dú)特點(diǎn)以及該論文中所用的批評策略。 第一章將�？思{的現(xiàn)實(shí)生活和其作品中展示的生活場景相比較，分析其生活背景對其創(chuàng)作的影響。首先介紹了福克納時(shí)期南方的經(jīng)濟(jì)生活和南方人的精神面貌，接著分析作品中所描述的約克納帕塔法縣的生活，種植園生活和狩獵生活，以及文中所體現(xiàn)的南方道德價(jià)值觀，闡述歷史對文本的影響。 第二章重點(diǎn)關(guān)注種族問題。本章結(jié)合福克納時(shí)期美國南方黑人的生活現(xiàn)實(shí)分析《去吧，摩西》中涉及的種族問題，進(jìn)而分析作者的種族觀。�？思{既同情黑人的遭遇，批判種族主義，又對好黑鬼和壞黑鬼區(qū)別對待，體現(xiàn)了其種族觀的局限性。福克納那一方面真實(shí)的描寫了當(dāng)時(shí)種族主義現(xiàn)狀，一方面又用自己那帶有局限性的文本，影響著當(dāng)時(shí)和后世的讀者。這正是“文本的歷史性”和“歷史的文本性”相互作用的表現(xiàn)。 第三章分析《去吧，摩西》的婦女問題。�？思{時(shí)期的美國南方社會，對女性是有偏見的。人們歧視女性，認(rèn)為男人是一家之主，女人則只是男人的財(cái)產(chǎn)和生育的工具。作品主要包含三類婦女：父權(quán)制的和種族主義的犧牲品、觀察者和違抗者，正是當(dāng)時(shí)婦女形象的典型代表。通過分析這三類婦女形象，我們了解了�？思{時(shí)期婦女的真實(shí)生活現(xiàn)狀。這正是“文本的歷史性”的體現(xiàn)。 論文的最后是結(jié)論部分。通過研究可以得知�？思{的生活背景和他的觀念，以及當(dāng)時(shí)社會背景對其作品有著很深的影響，而與此同時(shí)，在其作品中又更深刻的反應(yīng)出當(dāng)時(shí)的社會現(xiàn)狀和福克納的生活背景，以及他的種族和婦女觀念。因此通過運(yùn)用新歷史主義理論研究本文，我們一方面更加深刻的理解了小說的內(nèi)容，一方面更加生動的了解了南北戰(zhàn)爭后美國南方人民的生活。
[Abstract]:William Faulkner is a famous American writer, wrote "light in August > >, < < the sound and the fury, a rose for Emily and many other works. < > > go, Mose is one of the important works of Faulkner, the novel tells the story of a family story to us. Which highlights the authors of patriarchy that race and women's concerns. Go ahead, Mose > attracted the attention of many scholars at home and abroad. However, the traditional study was too focused on many elements inside the text, while ignoring the complexity of content and text outside the text itself. Social and historical factors that restrict the generation of literary texts and literary texts also participate in social construction culture. Between non literary texts and literary society that the text is no longer in opposition to each other, but a mutual relationship construction, complementary. In view of this, this paper through the study between history and Literature From the perspective of new historicism, this paper tries to analyze the social life, racial issues and women's problems in the works. The paper is divided into five parts.
The introduction part through the study of the works of Faulkner, especially Faulkner's research works at home and abroad, summarizes the previous research achievements and knowledge gaps are discussed from the perspective of new historicism of Faulkner novel "go, the necessity and feasibility of Mose >, and introduces the related research methods, theoretical basis, objectives and overall the framework. This part discusses the new historicism literary theory, including its basic concept, unique features and is used in this paper is the critical strategy.
The first chapter will show the real life of Faulkner and his works in the scenes of life in comparison, analyzing the influence of background of its creation. First introduced the Faulkner period in the South South economic life and the human spirit, then the analysis described in the works of Yorke Na Pa County, stressing life, plantation life and hunting life. In this paper, the South and the moral values, to expound the effect of history on the text.
The second chapter focuses on racial issues. This chapter combines the Faulkner period of Afro American life in the South "reality analysis go, racial issues involved Mose", and then the author analyses the concept of race. Faulkner sympathizes with the blacks suffered criticism, racism, and of good and bad nigger nigger distinction, reflects its limitations the concept of race. Faulkner that a true description of the racist situation, with his hand, with the limitations of the text, influence at that time and future generations of readers. This is the "historicity of text" and "historical text" interaction performance.
The third chapter is the analysis of "go, women's issues. Mose > Faulkner during the American Southern society, there is prejudice against women. People discriminate against women, that man is the master of the house, a woman is a man's property and fertility. The book mainly includes three kinds of women: patriarchy and racism the victim, the observer and the defiant, is a typical representative of the image of women. Through the analysis of these three kinds of images of women, we understand the real life status of women in Faulkner's time. This is the embodiment of" historicity of text ".
The last part is the conclusion. Through the research that Faulkner's life experience and his ideas, as well as the social background at that time has a deep influence on his works, and at the same time, his works profoundly reflect the social situation at that time and Faulkner's life background, as well as his race and women's ideas. Therefore, through the use of New Historicism theory research in this paper, we a more profound understanding of the content of the novel, a more vivid understanding of the life of the American people in the South after the civil war.
