【摘要】：《諾桑覺寺》是英國19世紀小說家簡·奧斯汀的早期作品之一。與奧斯汀其它幾部小說單純探討女性愛情與婚姻問題不同，，《諾桑覺寺》還表現(xiàn)出作者對十八世紀后期盛行一時的哥特小說的特別關(guān)注。 簡·奧斯汀深受當時著名哥特小說，安·拉德克利夫夫人的《奧多芙的秘密》的影響而創(chuàng)作了《諾桑覺寺》。小說在很多方面都模仿了當時極流行的哥特式（恐怖）小說的特點。小說書名是哥特式的，后半部的地點亦在過去曾是一座女修道院的蒂爾尼家族的住宅內(nèi)（多部哥特小說都發(fā)生在修道院）發(fā)生，而且小說的情節(jié)也是隨著女主人公凱瑟琳·莫蘭讀了哥特式小說之后要在現(xiàn)實生活中天真地按部就班去尋找刺激而步步深入的。 傳統(tǒng)上，文學(xué)評論家都認為《諾桑覺寺》是一部戲仿哥特式小說的作品。小說中作者諷刺了那些完全沉溺于哥特世界，混淆了現(xiàn)實與虛幻的讀者，尤其是女性。 但是近年來，越來越多的評論家認為，《諾桑覺寺》暗示了現(xiàn)實社會中確實存在哥特因素，是對哥特傳統(tǒng)的另類模仿。它反映了人們在社會和生活方式面臨巨大變化時不由自主產(chǎn)生的焦慮感和恐懼感。更有甚者，小說中處處充滿的反諷（既有對哥特小說的，也有對當時的英國現(xiàn)實的）使一些評論家們認為《諾桑覺寺》對于哥特?zé)釠]有明確的態(tài)度。 如何確認小說中體現(xiàn)的哥特情懷?本文借助敘事學(xué)理論，從簡·奧斯汀，這一真實作者,更主要地是從小說中的隱含作者，這兩個層面，通過歷史語境分析和文本細讀，試圖說明，作者在有意無意間，通過小說表現(xiàn)出來的對待哥特小說的矛盾心理。 本文主要由三部分組成。第一章主要交代了文學(xué)評論界是如何看待哥特小說與《諾桑覺寺》的關(guān)系,說明《諾桑覺寺》即是對哥特小說的戲仿，又暗示了現(xiàn)實社會也充滿了許多哥特式的因素。結(jié)合歷史背景與個人生平，第二章關(guān)注于真實作者對待哥特小說的似是而非的態(tài)度，說明真實作者的態(tài)度也會對文本中的隱含作者產(chǎn)生影響。本文的重點章節(jié)是第三章。該章從文本標題，敘述者對哥特小說的直接評述以及情節(jié)、人物、背景設(shè)計等多個敘事手段闡釋了文本中隱含作者對待哥特文學(xué)的悖論觀。
[Abstract]:"Northanger Temple" is one of the early works of British novelist Jane Austen in 19th century. Northanger Monastery also shows the author's special attention to Gothic novels that prevailed in late 18th century. Jane Austen was very popular with the famous Gothic novels of the time. The influence of Mrs. Radcliffe's "the Secret of Odysseus" and the creation of "Northanger Monastery." in many ways, the novel mimics the Gothic style (terror) that was so popular at the time. The characteristics of the novel. The title of the novel is Gothic. The latter part also takes place in the house of the Tierney family, which used to be a convent (many Gothic novels take place in the monastery). And the plot goes deeper and deeper as the heroine Catherine Moran reads the Gothic novel in real life, naively, in search of excitement. Traditionally, literary critics have regarded the Temple of Northanger as a parody of Gothic novels, in which the author satirizes readers who are completely addicted to the Gothic world and confuse reality with fantasy. Especially women. However, in recent years, more and more critics believe that the "Northanger Temple" implies the existence of Gothic factors in the real society. It is an alternative imitation of Gothic tradition. It reflects the anxiety and fear that people feel when their society and way of life are facing great changes. The ironies (both in Gothic novels and in the English reality of the time) have led some critics to think that there is no clear attitude towards Gothic fever. How to confirm the Gothic feelings embodied in the novel? With the help of narratology theory, from Jane Austen, the author of this real, mainly from the author of the implied novel, these two levels, through historical context analysis and text reading, try to explain. The author's ambivalence towards Gothic novels, consciously or unintentionally, is expressed through novels. This paper is composed of three parts. The first chapter mainly explains how the literary critics treat the relationship between Gothic novels and "Nusanjue Temple", and explains that the "Northanger Temple" is a parody of Gothic novels. It also implies that the real society is full of many Gothic factors. Combined with the historical background and personal life, the second chapter focuses on the real author's specious attitude towards Gothic novels. This paper focuses on the third chapter. This chapter is based on the title of the text, the narrator's direct comment on the Gothic novel and the plot and characters. Background design and other narrative methods explain the paradox of the author's treatment of Gothic literature in the text.
