女性主義翻譯理論視角下《飄》李美華譯本的譯者主體性研究

  美國著名長篇小說《飄》塑造了堅(jiān)強(qiáng)樂觀、自強(qiáng)不息的新女性形象,描繪了郝思嘉在一系列挫折中通過不懈的堅(jiān)持和努力,改變了個(gè)人和整個(gè)家族的命運(yùn)。自1936年問世以來,《飄》就得到了讀者們的廣泛關(guān)注,成為美國最暢銷的小說之一,并于1937年獲得普利策獎(jiǎng),在世界上被翻譯成29種文字,總共銷售近3000萬冊,因此對該小說進(jìn)行研究具有重要的價(jià)值。女性翻譯研究強(qiáng)調(diào)提高女性和譯文的地位,抵抗傳統(tǒng)性別觀念中對女性的不公,打破傳統(tǒng)翻譯觀念中“作者-譯者”、“原作-譯作”的二元對立,實(shí)現(xiàn)女性地位的獨(dú)立和提升,有利于女性主義思想的傳播。在眾多《飄》的中譯本中,李美華譯本很好地體現(xiàn)了女性主義思想和女性主義翻譯策略,因此,筆者選取女性主義翻譯理論為理論指導(dǎo),對《飄》李美華譯本中的譯者主體性進(jìn)行研究。論文發(fā)現(xiàn),譯者李美華在翻譯《飄》原著的過程中通過恰當(dāng)?shù)呐灾髁x翻譯策略體現(xiàn)了她作為女性譯者的女性主義意圖,實(shí)現(xiàn)了抵抗傳統(tǒng)性別歧視,提高譯文地位,突出譯者顯性的目的。論文認(rèn)為:譯者李美華在翻譯該著作時(shí)所發(fā)揮的譯者主體性主要體現(xiàn)在她采用了“增補(bǔ)”、“劫持”、“添加前言和腳注”的女性主義翻譯策略,抵抗了傳統(tǒng)性別觀念中對女性的不公...
