林語(yǔ)堂作為向西方傳播中國(guó)文化的代表人物之一,用其深厚的漢語(yǔ)功底和精湛的英文水平創(chuàng)作了不少優(yōu)秀作品。其中Moment in Peking最著名,該小說(shuō)被翻譯成多種語(yǔ)言。該論文作者在文獻(xiàn)收集過(guò)程中發(fā)現(xiàn),以往對(duì)Moment in Peking漢譯本的研究大多停留在靜態(tài)的視角,忽略了翻譯過(guò)程的動(dòng)態(tài)本質(zhì)。事實(shí)上,在翻譯過(guò)程中,譯者對(duì)原文本意義的解讀受到各種語(yǔ)境因素的影響。其中,情景語(yǔ)境和文化語(yǔ)境作為功能語(yǔ)境的兩個(gè)重要組成部分,是譯者翻譯時(shí)必須考慮的因素,二者的構(gòu)成要素都包含語(yǔ)場(chǎng)、語(yǔ)旨和語(yǔ)式�；诖�,本研究將功能語(yǔ)境引入Moment in Peking的文本翻譯分析,試圖彌補(bǔ)以往研究的不足,為翻譯理論和翻譯批評(píng)提供一個(gè)動(dòng)態(tài)的研究途徑。具體來(lái)說(shuō),本研究以翻譯中的功能語(yǔ)境為理論框架,對(duì)林語(yǔ)堂Moment in Peking的兩中譯本進(jìn)行對(duì)比研究(張振玉譯《京華煙云》和郁飛譯《瞬息京華》),通過(guò)運(yùn)用典型的譯例,重點(diǎn)討論兩譯本在詞匯層、句子層和語(yǔ)篇層的差異;分析源語(yǔ)文本概念意義、人際意義和語(yǔ)篇意義在兩譯本中不同程度的再現(xiàn);探討兩譯本在詞匯及物系統(tǒng)、情態(tài)系統(tǒng)和主位信息結(jié)構(gòu)這三個(gè)系統(tǒng)影響下不同的譯本產(chǎn)出。通過(guò)...
