林語堂作為向西方傳播中國文化的代表人物之一,用其深厚的漢語功底和精湛的英文水平創(chuàng)作了不少優(yōu)秀作品。其中Moment in Peking最著名,該小說被翻譯成多種語言。該論文作者在文獻(xiàn)收集過程中發(fā)現(xiàn),以往對Moment in Peking漢譯本的研究大多停留在靜態(tài)的視角,忽略了翻譯過程的動態(tài)本質(zhì)。事實上,在翻譯過程中,譯者對原文本意義的解讀受到各種語境因素的影響。其中,情景語境和文化語境作為功能語境的兩個重要組成部分,是譯者翻譯時必須考慮的因素,二者的構(gòu)成要素都包含語場、語旨和語式�；诖�,本研究將功能語境引入Moment in Peking的文本翻譯分析,試圖彌補以往研究的不足,為翻譯理論和翻譯批評提供一個動態(tài)的研究途徑。具體來說,本研究以翻譯中的功能語境為理論框架,對林語堂Moment in Peking的兩中譯本進(jìn)行對比研究(張振玉譯《京華煙云》和郁飛譯《瞬息京華》),通過運用典型的譯例,重點討論兩譯本在詞匯層、句子層和語篇層的差異;分析源語文本概念意義、人際意義和語篇意義在兩譯本中不同程度的再現(xiàn);探討兩譯本在詞匯及物系統(tǒng)、情態(tài)系統(tǒng)和主位信息結(jié)構(gòu)這三個系統(tǒng)影響下不同的譯本產(chǎn)出。通過...
