Alice Adventures in Wonderland是英國(guó)作家劉易斯·卡羅爾發(fā)表于1865年的一部?jī)和孟胛膶W(xué)作品。從翻譯的角度看,由于作者在文中運(yùn)用了大量的文字游戲和修辭技巧,曾經(jīng)被認(rèn)為是一部“妙不可譯”的奇書并吸引著無(wú)數(shù)學(xué)者對(duì)其原文與譯文進(jìn)行研究。目前,大多數(shù)學(xué)者都是圍繞目的論、接受美學(xué)以及功能對(duì)等方面進(jìn)行研究。本文選取《愛麗絲漫游奇境記》的三個(gè)譯本進(jìn)行對(duì)比分析,從關(guān)聯(lián)理論視角下的認(rèn)知語(yǔ)境的語(yǔ)言知識(shí)、百科知識(shí)和情景知識(shí)三個(gè)方面探討了在關(guān)聯(lián)理論視角下譯者為了實(shí)現(xiàn)源文中幽默言語(yǔ)在翻譯方法與技巧選取的異同。通過三個(gè)譯本的對(duì)比分析發(fā)現(xiàn),在趙元任譯本中,譯者根據(jù)目標(biāo)讀者的認(rèn)知語(yǔ)境能力,采用了大量的雙關(guān)以及類推的方式來實(shí)現(xiàn)作者的幽默意圖,在許多方面都成為經(jīng)典;在王永年的譯本中,譯者更多是保持源文本語(yǔ)言層面在忠實(shí),多數(shù)情況采取直譯;張華版本作為一個(gè)中文加注版本,譯者根據(jù)目標(biāo)讀者所處的時(shí)代的背景,對(duì)源文本中幽默言語(yǔ)加注來傳遞作者的幽默意圖。文章通過對(duì)比分析本文認(rèn)為譯者在幽默言語(yǔ)的翻譯方法選取上應(yīng)當(dāng)考慮目標(biāo)讀者的認(rèn)知能力與偏好,從認(rèn)知語(yǔ)境的三個(gè)方面綜合分析以采取合適的翻譯方法與技巧使目標(biāo)讀者...
