操縱論指導下《西游記》詹納爾譯本和余國藩譯本的對比研究

《西游記》作為中國四大名著之一,深受海內(nèi)外讀者的喜愛。其內(nèi)容為唐三藏率領三個徒弟向西天取經(jīng)。整個故事情節(jié)驚險刺激,穿插佛、釋、道三家真理,具有極強的趣味性。目前,《西游記》已被翻譯成了多國語言并風靡全球。其英譯本多為節(jié)譯與選譯,僅有詹納爾譯本（以下簡稱詹譯）和余國藩譯本（以下簡稱余譯）是《西游記》全譯本。本文嘗試通過在操縱論指導下對比研究《西游記》的詹譯本和余譯本這兩個全譯本,希望能為《西游記》的英譯研究盡綿薄之力,為后來研究者提供一定的借鑒。本篇論文在操縱論的指導下,分別從操縱論三因素:意識形態(tài)、詩學和贊助者三個方面對比研究了《西游記》的詹納爾譯本和余國藩譯本。論文認為:在意識形態(tài)的操縱下,詹譯本與余譯本主要存在兩個差異:第一、詹氏文化刪略VS余氏文化補充;第二、詹氏的歸化策略VS余氏異化策略。在詩學的操縱下,詹譯本與余譯本主要存在兩個差異:第一、詹氏保留原雙關修辭的幽默效果VS余氏僅傳達原雙關修辭本意;第二、詹氏舍棄原詩音韻美,僅傳達其本意VS余氏既保留原詩音韻美又傳達其本意。在贊助人的操縱下,詹譯本與余譯本主要存在兩個差異:第一、詹氏用口語替換原文本書面語VS余氏保留原文本書面語...
