敘事是指溝通過(guò)程中信息的傳遞和解讀過(guò)程,廣義上的敘事學(xué)研究范圍并不僅僅局限于書(shū)面文本或文學(xué)作品,而是作用于生活的方方面面;就狹義而言,敘事學(xué)是關(guān)于敘事作品、敘述、敘述結(jié)構(gòu)以及敘述性的理論,因此傳統(tǒng)敘事學(xué)研究著重對(duì)敘事文本做技術(shù)分析。盡管敘事文本兼具時(shí)間和空間維度,相比于時(shí)間敘事學(xué)研究,空間敘事學(xué)的發(fā)展并未吸引足夠的關(guān)注:直至?xí)r間敘事研究的局限性日益凸顯,理論家們才紛紛轉(zhuǎn)向空間敘事尋求解決靈感。1984年,加布里爾·佐倫在《走向敘事空間理論》一文中,建構(gòu)了一個(gè)具有實(shí)用價(jià)值和理論高度的空間理論模型。本文將以此為框架,探究《北京折疊》中的空間敘事特征及其在譯文中的重現(xiàn)�！侗本┱郫B》最初發(fā)表于2012年12月,小說(shuō)講述了北京在未來(lái)按照社會(huì)階層被分成三個(gè)空間,生活在第三空間的垃圾工老刀,為了讓自己的養(yǎng)女可以接受教育,冒著生命危險(xiǎn)穿梭在三個(gè)空間之中為人送信的故事。經(jīng)由譯者劉宇昆翻譯后,于2016年8月獲得第74屆雨果獎(jiǎng)最佳中短篇小說(shuō)獎(jiǎng)。由于故事情節(jié)簡(jiǎn)單,語(yǔ)言樸實(shí),對(duì)原文的研究多以讀者評(píng)論形式進(jìn)行;翻譯對(duì)比研究則涉及到翻譯策略、譯者主動(dòng)性、譯文接受度等領(lǐng)域。總體而言,從空間敘事學(xué)角度切入的翻譯研究較...
