本翻譯報告是筆者以美國小說家詹妮弗·唐納利（Jennifer Donnelly）的小說《北部之光》（A Northern Light）節(jié)選為翻譯實踐素材,以格特（Gutt）的關(guān)聯(lián)翻譯理論為指導(dǎo)撰寫的英漢翻譯報告�！侗辈恐狻穼懙氖侵魅斯�?shù)僭鯓佑赂业亟衣兑粯冻舐闹\殺案,怎樣通過努力實現(xiàn)自己夢想的勵志故事,也是最受青少年歡迎的小說,具有一定的翻譯價值,并且沒有中文譯本。筆者在翻譯過程中以關(guān)聯(lián)翻譯理論為理論基礎(chǔ)。該理論是格特在斯珀伯和威爾遜（Sperber and Wilson）的關(guān)聯(lián)理論基礎(chǔ)上提出的,從認知角度分析了言語交際過程中所涉及的內(nèi)容和方式,認為翻譯其實是一個明示—推理的過程,而交際的最終目的是找到最佳關(guān)聯(lián),實現(xiàn)交際意圖。此外,格特在關(guān)聯(lián)翻譯理論的基礎(chǔ)上提出了直接翻譯和間接翻譯的概念,其中直接翻譯對風(fēng)格翻譯有一定的指導(dǎo)意義。筆者在關(guān)聯(lián)翻譯理論的指導(dǎo)下進行小說翻譯,使用直接翻譯策略,從語義、句法、語音和修辭方面再現(xiàn)原文的交際線索,力求在一定程度上保留原作的風(fēng)格。然而,由于兩種語言之間的差異性,不可能完全使用直接翻譯,否則會影響譯文的可讀性,所以筆者針對直接翻譯可能會造成誤解或者目...
