本論文是一篇英漢翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告,所翻譯內(nèi)容選自都市溫情小說(shuō)《布默的遺愿清單》。這是一部讓人印象深刻又感人至深的寵物小說(shuō),其作者是美國(guó)作家蘇珊·佩西克。本書(shū)的主要故事情節(jié)可以分為三部分:布默生病;一同旅行;新生活,新希望。讀者可以跟隨主角,沿著66號(hào)公路（美國(guó)的母親之路）踏上從芝加哥到加利福尼亞的旅程,去領(lǐng)略那些令人陶醉、直擊心靈的風(fēng)景之美、人性之美。作者通過(guò)生動(dòng)的敘述和描寫(xiě),努力傳達(dá)人類與動(dòng)物之間友愛(ài)的重要性。因?yàn)樾≌f(shuō)中含有豐富的文化內(nèi)涵詞匯及短語(yǔ),還有大量的間接心理描寫(xiě),因此譯者選擇了這部小說(shuō)來(lái)做英漢翻譯,并在文化翻譯觀的指導(dǎo)下進(jìn)行。譯者選取第一章到第八章的內(nèi)容作為本篇報(bào)告的翻譯材料。因?yàn)檫@八章包涵大量具有文化內(nèi)涵的詞匯和短語(yǔ),此外,心理描寫(xiě)特別是間接心理描寫(xiě)在這八章中也非常豐富。而且,故事的起因在這部分已經(jīng)交代清楚,主要的人物角色也各自出場(chǎng)。在文化翻譯觀的指導(dǎo)之下,譯者分別從詞匯和句法兩個(gè)層面同時(shí)結(jié)合譯例來(lái)分析翻譯難點(diǎn)。在詞匯層面,譯者著重分析在原文中具有文化內(nèi)涵的詞語(yǔ)與詞組。在句法層面,著重對(duì)間接心理描寫(xiě)的句子進(jìn)行細(xì)致分析。通過(guò)這次翻譯報(bào)告的撰寫(xiě),譯者發(fā)現(xiàn),對(duì)于翻譯具有文化內(nèi)涵的詞...
