【摘要】：科幻小說(shuō)是隨工業(yè)文明崛起而誕生的文學(xué)體裁,眾多優(yōu)秀的西方科幻作品在被譯成中文后深受中國(guó)讀者的喜愛;同時(shí),盡管在當(dāng)代中國(guó)也涌現(xiàn)出了一批優(yōu)秀的本土科幻作品,但人們對(duì)中國(guó)科幻小說(shuō)英譯的關(guān)注度仍然相對(duì)較低。一方面,準(zhǔn)確、地道、流暢的英語(yǔ)譯文將會(huì)為優(yōu)秀中國(guó)科幻作品走向世界發(fā)揮巨大的助力作用。而另一方面,科幻文本在詞匯上具有自創(chuàng)式術(shù)語(yǔ)詞眾多、科學(xué)術(shù)語(yǔ)密集的特點(diǎn),這給翻譯造成了一定困難;在句法上,由于中英文表達(dá)習(xí)慣的差異,也有一些在漢英翻譯中普遍存在的難點(diǎn)。這些都需要譯者在充分理解文意的基礎(chǔ)上,選擇恰當(dāng)?shù)姆g策略來(lái)處理。本文是關(guān)于中國(guó)科幻代表作家劉慈欣的短篇科幻小說(shuō)《流浪地球》漢譯英翻譯項(xiàng)目的報(bào)告。針對(duì)中文科幻小說(shuō)英譯過(guò)程中自創(chuàng)術(shù)語(yǔ)多這一特點(diǎn),譯者在本項(xiàng)目執(zhí)行過(guò)程中使用計(jì)算機(jī)輔助翻譯工具以確保術(shù)語(yǔ)翻譯的正確性和一致性,同時(shí)以卡特福德的“翻譯轉(zhuǎn)換”理論作為理論指導(dǎo),對(duì)《流浪地球》的翻譯過(guò)程進(jìn)行梳理分析,探究結(jié)構(gòu)轉(zhuǎn)換在科幻文本漢譯英過(guò)程中的作用,試圖為中國(guó)科幻作品走向世界做些有益的嘗試。
[Abstract]:Science fiction is a literary genre born with the rise of industrial civilization. Many outstanding western sci-fi works are loved by Chinese readers after being translated into Chinese. At the same time, despite the emergence of a number of excellent local sci-fi works in contemporary China, the attention paid to the translation of Chinese sci-fi novels into English is still relatively low. On the one hand, accurate, authentic and fluent English translation will play an important role in the world of excellent Chinese sci-fi works. On the other hand, sci-fi texts have the characteristics of numerous lexical terms and intensive scientific terms, which makes translation difficult. Syntactically, there are some common difficulties in C-E translation because of the differences in Chinese and English expression habits. It is necessary for translators to choose appropriate translation strategies on the basis of full understanding of literary meaning. This paper is a report on the translation project of Chinese sci-fi representative writer Liu Cixin's short sci-fi novel "wandering the Earth" into Chinese and English. In order to ensure the correctness and consistency of terms translation, translators use computer-aided translation tools in the process of translating Chinese sci-fi novels into English. Under the guidance of Catford's translation theory, this paper analyzes the translation process of "wandering Earth" and explores the role of structural transformation in the Chinese-English translation of sci-fi texts. Try to make some useful attempts for Chinese sci-fi works to go to the world.
