《瘋狂的夏天》翻譯報(bào)告

【摘要】:報(bào)告分析提煉了《瘋狂的夏天》一書(shū)的文本特點(diǎn)和語(yǔ)言特征,并運(yùn)用尤金·奈達(dá)的功能對(duì)等理探究《瘋狂的夏天》的翻譯方法和技巧,并進(jìn)一步提煉兒童文學(xué)漢譯的原則和方法。功能對(duì)等理論是在理解原文的基礎(chǔ)上,重點(diǎn)把握翻譯的交際功能,要求譯文在語(yǔ)義、語(yǔ)體和風(fēng)格上與原文保持一致,同時(shí)考慮譯文讀者的接受程度和理解能力。該報(bào)告在功能對(duì)等理論指導(dǎo)下,遵循對(duì)等原則,讀者反應(yīng)原則和美學(xué)原則,總結(jié)出翻譯過(guò)程中遇到的文化詞的翻譯,長(zhǎng)難句的翻譯和修辭手法的翻譯并歸納出了相應(yīng)的翻譯方法。報(bào)告分為五部分,分別為引言、項(xiàng)目過(guò)程描述、理論基礎(chǔ)、案例分析分析和結(jié)語(yǔ)。第一部分簡(jiǎn)要介紹項(xiàng)目背景、項(xiàng)目意義、《瘋狂的夏天》的概況和作者簡(jiǎn)介以及文本特征;第二部分簡(jiǎn)述了該翻譯項(xiàng)目的基本流程,包括翻譯前的準(zhǔn)備工作,翻譯文本的難點(diǎn)和對(duì)譯文初稿的修改;第三部分介紹了翻譯報(bào)告的理論基礎(chǔ)——奈達(dá)功能對(duì)等理論、兒童文學(xué)翻譯的特點(diǎn),并論述了該理論在翻譯項(xiàng)目中的運(yùn)用;第四部分為報(bào)告重點(diǎn)所在,在功能對(duì)等理論視角下,譯者分析了《瘋狂的夏天》節(jié)選內(nèi)容中相關(guān)翻譯策略的實(shí)際運(yùn)用,并最終給出較為妥帖的譯文;最后一部分是結(jié)論,概述本報(bào)告的發(fā)現(xiàn)、不足以及對(duì)后續(xù)實(shí)踐和研究的建議。在正文之后,報(bào)告附上了翻譯原文和譯文,以供參考。本報(bào)告在理論和實(shí)踐方面均具有一定的意義。報(bào)告將功能對(duì)等理論應(yīng)用于兒童文學(xué)作品的翻譯中并對(duì)文本進(jìn)行了分析,檢驗(yàn)了功能對(duì)等理論與兒童文學(xué)翻譯的適切性。從實(shí)踐角度看,報(bào)告在一定程度上為兒童文學(xué)漢譯的實(shí)踐提供參考與借鑒。筆者認(rèn)為,在翻譯兒童文學(xué)作品時(shí)應(yīng)力求對(duì)等地傳達(dá)原作者的意圖,并清楚目標(biāo)讀者對(duì)譯文的期待和需求。
[Abstract]:The report analyses the textual and linguistic features of the book Crazy Summer, and explores the translation methods and techniques of Crazy Summer using Eugene Nida's functional equivalence. And further refine the principles and methods of children's literature translation. On the basis of understanding the source text, functional equivalence theory focuses on the communicative function of translation, which requires the target text to be consistent with the original in terms of semantics, style and style, taking into account the readers' acceptability and comprehension ability. Guided by the theory of functional equivalence, the report follows the principle of equivalence, the principle of readers' reaction and the principle of aesthetics, and summarizes the translation of cultural words encountered in the process of translation. The translation of long difficult sentences and rhetorical devices and the corresponding translation methods are summarized. The report is divided into five parts: introduction, project process description, theoretical basis, case analysis and conclusion. The first part briefly introduces the background of the project, the significance of the project, the general situation of "Crazy Summer" and the author's brief introduction, as well as the text features; The second part briefly describes the basic process of the translation project, including the preparatory work before translation, the difficulties of the translated text and the revision of the first draft of the translation. The third part introduces the theoretical basis of translation report-Nida functional equivalence theory, the characteristics of children's literature translation, and discusses the application of the theory in translation projects; The fourth part is the focus of the report. From the perspective of functional equivalence, the translator analyzes the practical application of translation strategies in the excerpts of "Crazy Summer", and finally gives a more appropriate translation. The last part is the conclusion, which summarizes the findings, shortcomings and recommendations for follow-up practice and research. After the text, the report is accompanied by a translation of the original text and the translation for reference. This report has certain significance in theory and practice. The paper applies the theory of functional equivalence to the translation of children's literature and analyzes the text to test the relevance of functional equivalence theory to children's literary translation. From a practical point of view, the report to some extent provides a reference for the practice of children's literature translation. The author believes that in translating children's literature works, we should try to convey the intention of the original author equally, and clearly understand the target readers' expectations and needs for the target text.
