【摘要】：本翻譯項(xiàng)目包括兩部分：作品《完美的世界——中西烏托邦小說研究》選譯(第六章《東方學(xué)——?dú)W洲作家們?cè)谥袊?guó)尋找烏托邦的旅程》)及翻譯研究報(bào)告。原著作者為著名比較學(xué)家杜威·佛克馬。本章共有五個(gè)小節(jié),分別探討了不同的文學(xué)作品中對(duì)于中國(guó)式“烏托邦”的描述,闡述了不同的學(xué)者對(duì)于烏托邦文化在中國(guó)的出現(xiàn)與發(fā)展所進(jìn)行的探討,讓讀者了解到烏托邦文化的中心思想以及這一文化在不同的背景下有著怎樣的體現(xiàn)。與薩義德所提出帶有貶義的“東方主義”不同,作者則是站在一個(gè)中立的角度審視與評(píng)價(jià)東方文學(xué)與文化。本項(xiàng)目選譯部分包含對(duì)世界知名文學(xué)作品以及哲學(xué)思想的探討,旨在將尤金·奈達(dá)的功能對(duì)等理論與翻譯實(shí)踐相結(jié)合,尋求原文與譯文間的功能對(duì)等。除功能對(duì)等理論外,翻譯中還相應(yīng)的采用了多種翻譯策略,在忠實(shí)原文的基礎(chǔ)上對(duì)原文進(jìn)行大量的語法分析。通過原文與譯文之間的對(duì)比,得出結(jié)論：兩種語言間不存在完全的對(duì)等,但是通過翻譯理論和翻譯策略的運(yùn)用,就能減少翻譯過程中出現(xiàn)的差異,最大程度的實(shí)現(xiàn)忠實(shí)傳遞原文信息。
[Abstract]:This translation project consists of two parts: works "the perfect World-A study of Western and Western Utopia" (Chapter 6, "Orientalism-European Writers' Journey in search of Utopia in China") and translation research report. The author of the original is Dewey Fockma, a famous comparative scientist. There are five sections in this chapter, which respectively discuss the description of Chinese "Utopia" in different literary works, and discuss the emergence and development of Utopian culture in China by different scholars. Let readers understand the central idea of Utopian culture and how this culture is embodied in different backgrounds. Different from the derogatory "Orientalism" put forward by said, the author examines and evaluates oriental literature and culture from a neutral point of view. The selected translation part of this project includes a discussion of world-famous literary works and philosophical ideas, aiming at combining Eugene Nida's functional equivalence theory with translation practice to seek functional equivalence between the original text and the target text. In addition to the functional equivalence theory, a variety of translation strategies are adopted in translation, and a great deal of grammatical analysis is carried out on the basis of faithfulness of the original text. Through the comparison between the original text and the target text, it is concluded that there is no complete equivalence between the two languages, but the differences in translation process can be reduced through the application of translation theory and translation strategies. To maximize the realization of faithful transmission of the original information.
