【摘要】：游記作為一種社會(huì)生活內(nèi)容的反映,具有文學(xué)、社會(huì)、地理和歷史價(jià)值。而翻譯外國(guó)人所著的中國(guó)游記能夠幫助中國(guó)讀者從別樣的角度回顧國(guó)家的社會(huì)歷史,同時(shí)為中國(guó)近現(xiàn)代歷史和游記文本翻譯研究提供參考。本翻譯報(bào)告討論的是澳大利亞作家瑪麗·岡特(Mary Gaunt)所著《來(lái)華一婦人》一書(shū)的漢譯項(xiàng)目�！秮�(lái)華一婦人》一書(shū)由瑪麗·岡特女士于1913年著成,是一部根據(jù)作者真實(shí)經(jīng)歷編寫(xiě)而成的中國(guó)游記,以一位外國(guó)來(lái)客的視角呈現(xiàn)出民國(guó)初期的中國(guó)社會(huì)風(fēng)貌。實(shí)踐報(bào)告分為五個(gè)章節(jié)。第一章介紹翻譯實(shí)踐項(xiàng)目的背景、意義及要求。第二章描述開(kāi)展項(xiàng)目所做的準(zhǔn)備工作。第三章介紹紐馬克提出的語(yǔ)義翻譯和交際翻譯理念。第四章從詞匯和句法兩層面對(duì)翻譯進(jìn)行分析。第五章在翻譯實(shí)踐的基礎(chǔ)上總結(jié)翻譯經(jīng)驗(yàn)心得體會(huì)。根據(jù)紐馬克的文本類(lèi)型理論,游記是以表達(dá)為主要語(yǔ)言功能的文本,在翻譯過(guò)程中筆者采取紐馬克提出的語(yǔ)義翻譯為主要翻譯策略,交際翻譯為輔助翻譯策略。案例分析主要從詞匯、句子的層面分析游記類(lèi)文本漢譯中翻譯策略的選擇。在詞語(yǔ)翻譯中,針對(duì)專(zhuān)有名詞應(yīng)用了諸如意譯、直譯、音譯和加注的翻譯方法,在句子翻譯中分析了定語(yǔ)從句、狀語(yǔ)從句、被動(dòng)句以及長(zhǎng)句的翻譯問(wèn)題并且就具體的翻譯技巧進(jìn)行總結(jié)。希望通過(guò)此次翻譯實(shí)踐為提升游記類(lèi)文本的翻譯質(zhì)量提供借鑒。
[Abstract]:As a reflection of social life, travel notes have literary, social, geographical and historical value. The translated Chinese travel notes by foreigners can help Chinese readers to review the social history of the country from a different perspective, and also provide a reference for the study of Chinese modern history and the translation of travel notes. This translation report deals with the translation project of a woman in China by Australian writer Mary Gunter (Mary Gaunt). A woman in China was written by Mary Gunter in 1913. It is a Chinese travelogue based on the author's real experience, which presents the Chinese social style in the early period of the Republic of China from the perspective of a foreign visitor. The practice report is divided into five chapters. Chapter one introduces the background, significance and requirements of practical translation projects. The second chapter describes the preparation of the project. Chapter three introduces the concepts of semantic translation and communicative translation proposed by Newmark. Chapter four analyzes translation from lexical and syntactic levels. Chapter five summarizes the experience of translation on the basis of translation practice. According to Newmark's text type theory, travel notes are texts whose main language function is expression. In the process of translation, the author adopts the semantic translation proposed by Newmark as the main translation strategy and the communicative translation as the auxiliary translation strategy. The case study mainly analyzes the choice of translation strategies in the Chinese translation of travelogue texts from the lexical and sentence levels. In the translation of words and expressions, the methods of translating proper nouns such as free translation, literal translation, transliteration and annotation are applied, and the attributive clauses and adverbial clauses are analyzed in the translation of sentences. The translation of passive sentences and long sentences and specific translation techniques are summarized. Through this translation practice, we hope to provide reference for improving the translation quality of travelogue texts.
