【摘要】：本文是一篇英譯漢翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告。報(bào)告的原文本選自英國(guó)歷史學(xué)家大衛(wèi)·摩根所著的《蒙古人》中的兩章。筆者選擇該文本原因如下:一是該文本尚無中文譯本;二是由于翻譯上的困難,西方學(xué)者撰寫的蒙古歷史書籍中文譯本相對(duì)較少,筆者希冀通過翻譯該文本為中國(guó)的蒙古歷史研究盡自己的綿薄之力;三是身為蒙古人,渴望更多了解本民族的歷史文化。該文本是一個(gè)蒙古歷史研究的文本。歷史類文本中往往蘊(yùn)含大量的專業(yè)術(shù)語以及豐富的歷史文化信息,該文本也不例外。文中出現(xiàn)了大量歷史類專業(yè)術(shù)語和有著豐富歷史文化內(nèi)涵的詞語和句子。如何準(zhǔn)確翻譯這些語言成分,使得讀者容易理解這些詞句,如何把它們中蘊(yùn)含的文化內(nèi)涵展現(xiàn)給讀者是筆者面臨的最大難題。注釋法作為翻譯補(bǔ)償?shù)囊环N手段,是歷史文本中常用的一種翻譯方法。它常常被譯者用來對(duì)如下情況進(jìn)行加注:一是為了使讀者更好理解詞語的內(nèi)涵,對(duì)詞語進(jìn)行加注;二是為了使讀者更好掌握章節(jié)和句子的核心思想,對(duì)章節(jié)、句子進(jìn)行加注;三是為了更好詮釋文章蘊(yùn)藏的內(nèi)容,譯者對(duì)所譯內(nèi)容加上自己的評(píng)說和注釋;四是包含上述前三種內(nèi)容的綜合性注釋。筆者采用了注釋法對(duì)文本中出現(xiàn)的歷史類專業(yè)術(shù)語和蘊(yùn)含豐富歷史文化的詞句進(jìn)行了翻譯補(bǔ)償,以期忠實(shí)的傳達(dá)源文本的語言文化信息。本文將注釋按照內(nèi)容分類,文中包括對(duì)詞語加注、提供句子歷史文化背景信息的注釋以及解釋翻譯方法、討論翻譯內(nèi)容的注釋。同時(shí)筆者通過這次翻譯實(shí)踐,梳理出了歷史類文本的加注原則。最后筆者對(duì)本次翻譯實(shí)踐進(jìn)行了總結(jié)。筆者指出,在歷史類文本中合理加注有利于目的語讀者深刻理解原文本的歷史文化背景,同時(shí)筆者也對(duì)本次翻譯實(shí)踐中的不足之處進(jìn)行了分析,并且有針對(duì)性的提出了一些建議。
[Abstract]:This paper is an English-Chinese translation practice report. The original text of the report is selected from two chapters in The Mongols by David Morgan, a British historian. This text is a text of Mongolian history research. History texts often contain a large number of professional terms and rich historical and cultural information, and this text is no exception. Foreigner, there are a large number of historical terms and words and sentences with rich historical and cultural connotations. How to accurately translate these linguistic elements to make it easy for readers to understand these words and sentences, and how to show the cultural connotations contained in them to the readers are the biggest problems facing the author. It is often used by the translator to annotate the following situations: first, to make the reader better understand the meaning of the words, to annotate the words; second, to make the reader better grasp the core ideas of the chapters and sentences, to annotate the chapters and sentences; third, to better interpret the implications of the article. Fourthly, it is a comprehensive annotation which contains the first three contents. The author uses the annotation method to compensate the translation of historical terms and words which contain rich historical culture in the text in order to faithfully convey the linguistic and cultural information of the source text. The annotations are classified according to the content, including the annotation of words, the annotation of historical and cultural background of sentences, and the interpretation of translation methods. Reasonable annotations in historical texts are helpful for the target readers to understand the historical and cultural background of the original text. At the same time, the author also analyzes the shortcomings of the translation practice and puts forward some suggestions.
