【摘要】：本報告基于一部描寫美國西部的小說《小鎮(zhèn)浩劫》漢譯進行分析和研究。美國西部小說作為最具美國特色的通俗小說,成功地再現(xiàn)了美國社會和民族形成的特殊環(huán)境�！缎℃�(zhèn)浩劫》通過一個西部小鎮(zhèn)的興衰,反映了美國西部社會人們的真實生活。在希望與絕望的交織中,人們的西部夢最終破滅。作者有意讓小說的結(jié)局背離了傳統(tǒng)西部小說的套路,從而引發(fā)讀者對西部“神話”的思考�！缎℃�(zhèn)浩劫》同其他西部小說有相似之處,人物對話多采用俚語,將西部文化滲透在內(nèi),小說多使用通俗易懂的詞匯,使得人物形象更加生動。但是小說結(jié)局卻異于其他大部分西部小說,小鎮(zhèn)重建的夢最終毀于一旦,結(jié)局與之前的努力形成鮮明對比。小說前面部分對鎮(zhèn)長帶領(lǐng)下的掙扎奮斗進行描述的同時,也透露出人性的怯懦。譯者在翻譯過程中既要將小說內(nèi)容表達出來,又要將作者刻畫的人物情感表現(xiàn)出來,注意詞語和句式的選擇,以及篇章的邏輯關(guān)系和銜接。本報告內(nèi)容包括:翻譯任務(wù)描述、譯前分析和準備、翻譯過程描述、案例分析和翻譯實踐總結(jié)。第四章案例分析包括四節(jié),第一節(jié)描寫譯者在翻譯過程中遇到的一些特色詞匯,它們雖然是常用詞匯,但是在本文中卻表示不同意思,譯者通過詞典等工具經(jīng)過查證,了解相關(guān)背景知識,確定這些特色詞匯的意思。此外譯者翻譯和分析了由于地方口音或者文化水平限制而產(chǎn)生的一部分“錯詞”,譯者根據(jù)這些詞匯的書寫和讀音確定正確詞匯,翻譯為對應(yīng)的漢語意思。同時,考慮到這些特色詞匯的口語化和作品中部分人物較低級的受教育水平,譯者在翻譯過程中使用了比較通俗易懂的語言。第二節(jié)主要分析作品中出現(xiàn)的省音及省略標點的句子的翻譯,第三節(jié)和第四節(jié)分別分析否定句的翻譯和修辭翻譯。本次翻譯中,譯者以翻譯理論和技巧為指導(dǎo),尊重語言和文本特點,展開翻譯和分析。
[Abstract]:This report is based on the analysis and study of the translation of a novel about the western part of the United States, the catastrophe of small towns. American Western novels, as the most popular novels with American characteristics, successfully reproduce the special environment formed by American society and nation. Through the rise and fall of a small western town, it reflects the real life of people in American western society. In the intertwined of hope and despair, people's western dreams were finally dashed. The author intentionally deviates from the traditional western novel, thus provoking readers to think about the "myth" of the west. "the disaster of a small Town" is similar to other western novels, and the characters often use slang in their dialogues. The western culture is infiltrated, the novel uses the easy-to-understand vocabulary, makes the character image more vivid. But the ending of the novel is different from most other western novels, the dream of town reconstruction is destroyed, and the ending is in sharp contrast with previous efforts. The front part of the novel describes the struggle led by the mayor, but also reveals the cowardice of human nature. In the process of translation, the translator should not only express the content of the novel, but also show the feelings of the characters described by the author, pay attention to the choice of words and sentence patterns, as well as the logical relationship and cohesion of the text. This report includes: translation task description, pre-translation analysis and preparation, translation process description, case analysis and translation practice summary. The fourth chapter consists of four sections. The first section describes some characteristic words that the translator meets in the process of translation. Although they are commonly used, they mean different meanings in this paper, and the translator verifies them by means of dictionaries and other tools. Understand the background and determine the meaning of these words. In addition, a part of "wrong words" produced by local accent or cultural restriction is translated and analyzed. According to the writing and pronunciation of these words, the translator determines the correct words and translates them into the corresponding Chinese meaning. At the same time, taking into account the colloquialization of these special words and the lower level of education of some of the characters in the works, the translator uses a relatively easy to understand language in the process of translation. The second section mainly analyzes the translation of sentences with provincial sound and omitting punctuation, while the third and fourth sections analyze the translation of negative sentences and rhetorical translation respectively. The translator is guided by translation theories and techniques, respects the characteristics of language and text, and carries out translation and analysis.
