【摘要】：傳統(tǒng)翻譯觀認(rèn)為翻譯要忠實于原文,違背此原則的翻譯常常被貼上“錯誤翻譯”(即誤譯)的標(biāo)簽。誤譯成為翻譯之大忌。然而,因為語言、文化、意識形態(tài)、譯者素養(yǎng)等因素的影響,誤譯又是不可避免的。一國語言和另一國語言必然是有差別的,而且譯者對原文的理解和他最終表述出來的譯文也會有差異。在翻譯過程中,由于多種因素的影響,譯文與原文相比,總會有走形變樣的地方,在意思或者語氣上違背或不盡貼合原文。本文認(rèn)為,除去因譯者個人素養(yǎng)、疏忽大意、對原文理解錯誤造成的那部分誤譯之外,因為語言、文化、意識形態(tài)等因素造成的有意誤譯有其合理性。20世紀(jì)70年代,翻譯研究出現(xiàn)了“文化轉(zhuǎn)向”,越來越重視非文本因素對翻譯的影響。鑒于此,本文試從操縱論的視角出發(fā),來分析文學(xué)翻譯中的有意誤譯現(xiàn)象。小說《追風(fēng)箏的人》是阿富汗裔美國作家卡勒德·胡賽尼(Khaled Hosseini)寫的第一部小說,于2003年出版。此書一經(jīng)出版,即廣受好評,并被翻譯成多國文字。目前國內(nèi)對《追風(fēng)箏的人》的研究主要集中在文學(xué)研究和對其兩個中譯本的對比研究或單個譯本的翻譯研究。然而,筆者在將其中譯本與原文對照閱讀過程中,發(fā)現(xiàn)存在許多誤譯之處。這其中既有譯者理解錯誤、疏忽大意造成的誤譯,也有因為意識形態(tài)等原因而改寫所造成的“誤譯”。本文認(rèn)為前一種誤譯是譯者通過努力可以盡力做到避免的,而后一種誤譯現(xiàn)象常常是譯者在諸多因素影響下的有意為之,因而更有研究價值。本文將從操縱理論的視角來分析《追風(fēng)箏的人》漢譯本中的有意誤譯,肯定其合理性,從而為譯者們的翻譯實踐提供指導(dǎo)和建議。
[Abstract]:The traditional view of translation holds that translation should be faithful to the original text, and translation that violates this principle is often labelled as "wrong translation". Mistaken translation has become a big taboo in translation. However, due to the influence of language, culture, ideology and translator's accomplishment, mistranslation is inevitable. There must be differences between one language and another, and the translator's understanding of the original text and his final translation will be different. In the process of translation, due to the influence of many factors, there is always a place of aberration between the target text and the original text, which is contrary to or inconsistent with the original text in meaning or mood. This paper argues that apart from the partial misinterpretation caused by the translator's personal qualities, carelessness and misunderstanding of the original text, the intentional mistranslation caused by language, culture, ideology and other factors has its rationality in the 1970s. There has been a cultural turn in translation studies, and more and more attention has been paid to the influence of non-text factors on translation. In view of this, this paper tries to analyze the phenomenon of intentional mistranslation in literary translation from the perspective of manipulation theory. The first novel by Afghan American writer Khaled Hosseini. was published in 2003. Once published, the book was well received and translated into many languages. At present, domestic researches on Kite pursuers mainly focus on literary studies, contrastive studies on two Chinese versions or translation studies on individual versions. However, in the process of comparing the Chinese version with the original text, the author finds that there are many mistakes in translation. There are not only the misinterpretation caused by the translator's misunderstanding and carelessness, but also the "mistranslation" caused by the rewriting due to ideology and so on. This paper argues that the former kind of translation is something the translator can try to avoid through efforts, and the latter phenomenon is often intentional by the translator under the influence of many factors, so it is more valuable to study. From the perspective of manipulation theory, this paper will analyze the intentional mistranslation in the translation of "the Kite pursuer", and confirm its rationality, thus providing guidance and suggestions for translators in their translation practice.
