【摘要】：我所選擇的翻譯材料叫做My Only Son,是在美國的一個原創(chuàng)小說論壇上找到的。這篇短篇小說的作者是一位不出名的作家,名字做丹妮·里格斯,土生土長的美國黑人女性。My Only Son是在2009年完成的但是到現(xiàn)在都沒有紙質(zhì)版。雖然丹妮·里格斯沒有什么名氣,但她的作品My Only Son在論壇上的點擊量超過了10萬,點贊人數(shù)9000多,占據(jù)了該論壇最受歡迎網(wǎng)絡(luò)故事/小說排行榜的榜首。小說主要描寫了兩位父母在得知兒子感染艾滋病后的心理和身體狀態(tài),表現(xiàn)了父母,孩子,鄰居及朋友之間堅不可摧的愛。小說的總體情節(jié)并不復(fù)雜但是卻感人肺腑,作者的用詞平實卻又充滿力量。而其中的對話就像人物內(nèi)心活動的鏡子,即是推動全文行進的線索,也是各個人物之間溝通的橋梁。鑒于中國和美國不同的文化背景,部分的翻譯做了靈活的調(diào)整,使目的語的讀者的閱讀時體驗更加舒適流暢。在翻譯中交際翻譯理論的應(yīng)用是我翻譯報告的重心。論文會被分成三個部分,第一部分介紹實踐材料,第二部分規(guī)劃翻譯安排,第三部分包括交際翻譯理論及案例分析。
[Abstract]:The translation I chose was my Only Son.It was found in an original novel forum in the United States. The author of this short story is a little-known writer named Dani Riggs. My Only Son, a native African-American woman, was completed in 2009 but has not yet been printed. Although Dani Riggs is not well known, her work, my Only Son, received more than 100000 views and more than 9000 likes on the forum. Top of the forum's most popular online stories / novels list. The novel depicts the psychological and physical status of two parents after learning that their son is infected with AIDS, showing their parents and children. An impenetrable love between neighbors and friends. The overall plot of the novel is not complex but touching, the author's words are plain and powerful. And the dialogue is like a mirror of the inner movement of the character, that is, the clue that drives the whole story forward. It is also a bridge between the various characters. In view of the different cultural backgrounds between China and the United States, some translations have been flexibly adjusted. The application of communicative translation theory in translation is the focus of my translation report. The thesis will be divided into three parts: the first part introduces the practical materials, the second part plans the translation arrangements. The third part includes communicative translation theory and case study.
