“多元調(diào)和”:張愛玲翻譯的女性主義視角研究

【摘要】: 中國臺灣作家張愛玲在20世紀(jì)中國現(xiàn)代文學(xué)史上贏得了“傳奇”般的聲譽(yù)。然而,“譯者張愛玲”的角色很少出現(xiàn)于中國翻譯史的書寫。出生于舊上海沒落貴族家庭的張愛玲,在中方文化碰撞焦點之地香港接受西洋教育,之后又將余生在大洋彼岸美國度過,這段輾轉(zhuǎn)的人生經(jīng)歷孕育出了張愛玲獨(dú)特的雙重文化視角以及兩性觀照。相對于西方激進(jìn)的女性翻譯理論,以及中國本土溫和的女性主義翻譯主張而言,張愛玲的女性主義翻譯詩學(xué)呈現(xiàn)出與眾不同的面貌:即“多元調(diào)和下的女性主義翻譯詩學(xué)”。以此為立論點并在女性主義翻譯理論的指導(dǎo)下,本文將宏觀上從“譯者主體性與女性身份”,“創(chuàng)造性叛逆與女性經(jīng)驗”以及“人物刻畫與女性形象”三方面的調(diào)和來展示張愛玲和諧,圓融的女性視闕,微觀上,本文將采用文本分析,文本對比以及女性主義批評等方法來逐一展開每個“調(diào)和”點的論述。 本文的第一個創(chuàng)新點在于譯本的選擇,即“老人與!币约啊昂I匣ā薄8鶕(jù)女性主義翻譯理論,譯者主體性的體現(xiàn)在實踐中主要表現(xiàn)為譯本選擇與干涉主義翻譯策略選擇。一般女性主義譯者選擇的譯本分為兩類:一是由女性作家書寫的能凸顯女性身份的文本;二是由男性作家書寫的“厭女”類對抗性文本。女性主義譯者將通過選擇增補(bǔ),腳注,前言以及“劫持”等女性主義翻譯策略對文本進(jìn)行改寫與干涉,從而使女性譯者身份得以確認(rèn)和彰顯。然而本文中選擇的譯本體現(xiàn)出了張愛玲另類的文本選擇傾向,即選擇由男性作家書寫的要么是充滿陽剛之氣,要么是充滿女性柔美的兩部小說。突破主流女性主義文本選擇的分類,張愛玲通過女性化“移情”使得剛?cè)岵?jì)的硬漢形象更具張力;繼而又在女性精神世界的關(guān)注問題上與男性作家韓邦慶產(chǎn)生“多元共鳴”,真實的再現(xiàn)了原作“平淡而近自然”的世俗美以及各色風(fēng)月場上女性恣意的生活姿態(tài)。第二個創(chuàng)新點在于挖掘出“女性經(jīng)驗”在女性主義翻譯過程的作用,指出感性的女性經(jīng)驗在很大程度上影響了譯者的創(chuàng)造性,同時也指導(dǎo)了譯者的讀者觀照。張愛玲輾轉(zhuǎn)吳語,漢語以及西洋文化的“三維女性經(jīng)驗”的空間之中,她大膽創(chuàng)譯人名與地名,轉(zhuǎn)譯文化暗喻與異質(zhì)元素以及改譯原文形式與結(jié)構(gòu),其中夾雜著女性特有的敏感與敏銳,從而體現(xiàn)出與眾不同的“創(chuàng)造性叛逆”。 本文的意義有三點: 第一,譯者主體性與女性主義翻譯理論的結(jié)合為研究翻譯過程,譯者行為,譯者主體性與創(chuàng)新性提供了嶄新的視角。 第二,張愛玲“多元調(diào)和”下的女性主義詩學(xué)使得譯作呈現(xiàn)獨(dú)特面貌,這可以為中國建設(shè)多元的翻譯學(xué)體系提供“另類”的借鑒素材。 第三,對張愛玲譯本的比較研究為中國的文學(xué)翻譯提供了新的啟示,更為研究中西方女性主義翻譯理論的差異提供了參考。
[Abstract]:Chinese Taiwan writer Eileen Chang won the "legendary" reputation in twentieth Century Chinese modern literary history. However, the "translator Eileen Chang" rarely appeared in the Chinese role translation history. The significance of this paper three:
