對林語堂英譯《浮生六記》的簡析

【摘要】:《浮生六記》是清代作家沈復的小品文集,語言平實自然,內(nèi)容豐富有趣,充分體現(xiàn)了作者閑適的性靈、生活的情趣和與妻子陳蕓之間忠貞不渝的愛情。本書的英文譯者林語堂是學貫中西的著名作家、翻譯家,翻譯功底深厚、語言純熟,廣受國內(nèi)外讀者的喜愛。同時,林語堂對《浮生六記》一書懷有濃厚的興趣,并與作者沈復的思想、經(jīng)歷有共鳴之處。在其譯文中,充分體現(xiàn)了原文的思想、感情、觀點和美感。本文主要對林語堂翻譯的《浮生六記》進行簡要分析,分成五個部分:第一部分為引言,包括背景介紹以及文獻綜述。第二部分介紹譯者林語堂其人,包括其生平、性格、翻譯和寫作的風格,以及《浮生六記》其書。第三部分研究林語堂選擇《浮生六記》進行翻譯的背后原因。第四部分從多個角度對該譯本做具體評析,包括中西跨文化交際和審美移情理論,以及翻譯的不足之處。第五部分是總結(jié),并反思本文的不足,表達對未來研究的展望。

The book English translator Lin Yutang is a famous writer, Chinese translator, translation of profound knowledge, language proficiency, bydomestic foreign readers. In their translations, fully embodies the original thoughts, feelings, and aesthetic point of view.
