【摘要】： 文學(xué)作品的文學(xué)價值體現(xiàn)在內(nèi)容和呈現(xiàn)內(nèi)容的形式兩個方面。后者通常是作者用來表達(dá)和加強(qiáng)主題意義和美學(xué)效果的重要途徑�？墒莻鹘y(tǒng)的小說翻譯中,譯者往往注重原文內(nèi)容的傳達(dá),而忽略其語言形式的意義及其產(chǎn)生的文體效果。此外,文學(xué)翻譯,尤其是小說翻譯的研究和批評長久以來一直囿于傳統(tǒng)、主觀、直覺印象式的評論和分析。作為一門連接語言學(xué)與文學(xué)批評,集中探討作者如何通過對語言的選擇來表達(dá)和加強(qiáng)主題意義和美學(xué)效果的學(xué)科,文學(xué)文體學(xué)可以較好地解決上述問題,因為它以語言學(xué)的方法為工具,對文學(xué)作品進(jìn)行描述和闡釋,從而為文學(xué)研究搭建起從主觀性走向客觀性的橋梁。這也是本文采用文學(xué)文體學(xué)的理論方法對小說《駱駝祥子》的三個英譯本進(jìn)行比較研究的緣由所在。 《駱駝祥子》是老舍的代表作品,被認(rèn)為是中國現(xiàn)代文學(xué)史上同類作品中的佼佼者。由于老舍在中國文學(xué)史上的重要地位,對其人和作品的研究方興未艾;現(xiàn)對而言,對其作品譯作的研究則頗為薄弱。國內(nèi)對《駱駝祥子》三個英文譯本的研究首先在量上比較少;其次角度也較單一,基本集中在權(quán)力話語理論、描述性翻譯研究、語境層級性、功能對等、方言翻譯、歸化異化、目的論、東方學(xué)、漢語歐化方面;再次,對三個譯本的評價一般為簡單的直觀性綜述,鮮有系統(tǒng)客觀的分析。這對于一部充滿作者風(fēng)格特征的小說的譯本研究來說,不能不說是一種遺憾。 因此,本文將從文學(xué)文體學(xué)的角度分析比較《駱駝祥子》的三個英文譯本,考查原文主要的文體特征及效果是否在譯文中盡顯出來,并試圖探討將文學(xué)文體學(xué)應(yīng)用于小說翻譯實踐和研究的必要性及重要性。 本文共分五章。第一章簡要介紹了研究目的與文章結(jié)構(gòu)。第二章的文獻(xiàn)綜述第一部分首先概括了“文體”、“文體學(xué)”和“文學(xué)文體學(xué)”的概念,接著回顧了文學(xué)文體學(xué)在中西方的發(fā)展歷史,最后討論了將文學(xué)文體學(xué)應(yīng)用于小說翻譯的必要性,提出了本文的研究目標(biāo);第二部分則是對老舍和《駱駝祥子》及其英譯本研究情況的一個概述。第三章為本文的理論框架部分,介紹了英國文體學(xué)家利奇和肖特提出的小說文體研究方法,并以此作為本文的分析模式;然后對文學(xué)文體學(xué)中的重要概念進(jìn)行了闡述,總結(jié)了本文語料選取和分析的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。第四章為文本分析部分,從詞匯、語法以及話語與思想表述三個層面,分別檢驗原文的文體特征是否在譯文中得以保留再現(xiàn),并分析不同譯者對它們的不同處理所產(chǎn)生的不同文體效果。第五章總結(jié)了譯本分析的結(jié)果,并簡要列舉了文學(xué)文體學(xué)的不足之處。 綜上所述,本文以利奇和肖特的文體學(xué)分析方法為理論框架,并借鑒其他文體學(xué)家的相關(guān)文學(xué)文體學(xué)理論觀點,結(jié)合小說的主要文體特征,對《駱駝祥子》文本及其譯本進(jìn)行比較分析,從而揭示文學(xué)文體學(xué)對文學(xué)翻譯尤其是小說翻譯研究和批評的重要價值和指導(dǎo)意義。
[Abstract]:The literary value of literary works is embodied in the form of content and content . The latter is usually the important way to express and strengthen the meaning and aesthetic effect of the subject . In addition , the study and criticism of literary translation , especially the translation of novel , has been limited to the traditional , subjective and intuitive comments and analyses . As an important position in the history of Chinese literature , the research on the translation , domestication , teleology , Oriental and Chinese are very weak . In the study of translation , domestication , teleology , Oriental and Chinese , it is a pity that the study of three translations is generally simple and systematic . This is a pity for the translation of a novel filled with the characteristics of the author . Therefore , this paper tries to explore the necessity and importance of applying literary stymies to novel translation practice and research . Chapter Three gives a brief introduction to the research object and the article structure . The first part of the article introduces the concept of " style " , " stylology " and " literary stylology " , and then reviews the development history of literary stylology in China and the West , and finally discusses the different stylistic effects of literary stylology in the translation of novels . Chapter Three summarizes the results of the translation analysis and gives a brief list of the deficiencies of literary stylology . Based on the above , this paper makes a comparative analysis of the text and the translation of camel Xiangzi , and reveals the important value and significance of literary stylology to literary translation , especially the study and criticism of novel translation .
