圖式理論視閾下李清照詞英譯研究

【摘要】:探索翻譯心理過程是翻譯研究的一個(gè)新的視角,進(jìn)一步完善了翻譯學(xué)研究的多樣性,并使翻譯研究越來越有據(jù)可依。圖式理論是認(rèn)知心理學(xué)的一個(gè)分支,已被大量運(yùn)用于閱讀理解和翻譯研究。圖式是人們通過不斷地學(xué)習(xí)和生活經(jīng)驗(yàn)的積累而儲(chǔ)存在大腦中的知識(shí)和知識(shí)結(jié)構(gòu)。當(dāng)遇到新經(jīng)驗(yàn)或新信息時(shí),儲(chǔ)存在大腦中的圖式會(huì)經(jīng)過匹配、更改和轉(zhuǎn)變,形成新的圖式來幫助理解信息,預(yù)測新變化。 李清照是我國古典詩詞史上的一個(gè)杰出代表,她的詩詞在國內(nèi)外廣為流傳,深受中外學(xué)者和翻譯家的喜愛,并對(duì)其詩詞做了大量的研究。 本文以李清照詩詞譯作為個(gè)案,試圖從認(rèn)知圖式理論來探討譯者在翻譯時(shí)的心理過程,結(jié)合文學(xué)翻譯的本質(zhì),利用讀者參與其中的辦法,通過對(duì)比分析來檢驗(yàn)譯者的產(chǎn)出在目的語讀者心中的圖式與原作在源語讀者心中的圖式的匹配度。本文整理歸納了中國讀者對(duì)《如夢令》原作的理解和鑒賞;引用了來自6位中外譯者的6種《如夢令》的翻譯譯本,詳細(xì)介紹了每個(gè)譯者自身對(duì)詩詞翻譯的心理圖式和他們對(duì)《如夢令》不同的翻譯處理;以問卷的形式調(diào)查了30位外國讀者,整理了他們從6種《如夢令》譯本中得到的信息以及他們對(duì)這6種譯本的理解和鑒賞,結(jié)合文學(xué)翻譯的本質(zhì)對(duì)源語讀者對(duì)于原作所產(chǎn)生的圖式和目的語讀者對(duì)于譯作所產(chǎn)生的圖式進(jìn)行對(duì)比分析,得出了什么樣的譯作在傳情達(dá)意上才是最好的。 本文最終的目的在于證明圖式理論對(duì)翻譯過程強(qiáng)大的解釋力,和通過結(jié)合翻譯的本質(zhì),利用讀者參與這一方法證明翻譯研究的有效性,以期為翻譯研究開辟一條新路徑。
[Abstract]:Exploring the psychological process of translation is a new perspective in translation studies, which further improves the diversity of translation studies and makes translation studies more and more evidence-based. Schema theory is a branch of cognitive psychology. Schema is the knowledge and knowledge structure that people store in the brain through continuous learning and life experience accumulation. When new experience or new information is encountered. Schemas stored in the brain are matched, modified, and transformed to form new schemas to help understand information and predict new changes. Li Qingzhao is an outstanding representative in the history of classical poetry in China. Her poems are widely spread at home and abroad and are loved by Chinese and foreign scholars and translators. Taking Li Qingzhao's poetry translation as a case study, this paper attempts to explore the psychological process of the translator in translation from the perspective of cognitive schema theory, combining the essence of literary translation with the approach of readers' participation. Through comparative analysis, this paper tests the matching degree between the schema of the translator's output in the target language reader's mind and the original work's schema in the source language reader's heart. This paper summarizes the Chinese readers' understanding and appreciation of the original novel. In this paper, six translation versions of "such a dream" are cited from six Chinese and foreign translators, and the psychological schemata of each translator's own translation of poetry and their different translation treatment of "like Dream" are introduced in detail. A questionnaire survey of 30 foreign readers was conducted to collate the information they received from the six versions of the six versions and their understanding and appreciation of the six versions. Combining the essence of literary translation, this paper makes a comparative analysis of the schemata produced by the source language readers and the target language readers on the original works, and concludes that what kind of translation is the best in terms of expressing the meaning of the original works. The ultimate purpose of this thesis is to prove the powerful explanatory power of schema theory in the translation process and to prove the validity of translation studies by combining the nature of translation with the participation of readers. In order to open up a new path for translation studies.
