【摘要】：本文是一篇翻譯項目報告。項目原文選自英國當代暢銷小說家杰弗里?阿徹的連載小說《克里夫頓紀事》(The Clifton Chronicles)的第四部《小心你許的愿望》(Be Careful What You Wish For)。該書屬于通俗小說一類,已于2014年3月全球出版,講述克里夫頓和巴林頓兩大家族于1957到1964年間發(fā)生的故事。從“信息結(jié)構(gòu)”的角度來說,英、漢兩種語言均遵循將已知信息放于新信息之前與信息焦點置于句末的原則,故為了更好地保留小說的原“信息流”,使譯本在信息傳達上擁有更高的流暢性,本報告作者采取“順句操作”的基本策略處理以“人稱代詞”引導的關(guān)系從句和含“施事者”的被動句式。在此總原則的指導下,作者在處理前一類句型時,根據(jù)需要采用了合譯法、分譯法、省略、復(fù)指、改變從句類型等方法,而在處理后一類句型時,則借助了運用強調(diào)結(jié)構(gòu),重構(gòu)句式或變詞為句的手段。本翻譯報告的主體由四部分組成:第一章介紹翻譯項目;第二章描述翻譯過程;第三章以“信息結(jié)構(gòu)”為理論框架,對翻譯案例進行分析并總結(jié)出相應(yīng)的翻譯方法;第四章為結(jié)論部分,簡要概述本報告的研究發(fā)現(xiàn)與存在的局限性。
[Abstract]:This article is a translation project report. The original text of the project is from Geoffrey Geoffrey, the British contemporary best-selling novelist. Archer's Serial novel "the Clifton Chronicles" (4th) the Clifton Chronicles. "be careful of your wishes." (. Be Careful What You Wish Forn. The book falls into the category of popular novels. Published around the world in March 2014, the story of the Clifton and Barrington families from 1957 to 1964. From the perspective of "Information structure," Britain. Both Chinese and Chinese follow the principle of placing the known information before the new information and the focus of the information at the end of the sentence. Therefore, in order to better retain the original "information flow" of the novel, the translation has a higher fluency in the communication of information. The author of this report adopts the basic strategy of "following sentence operation" to deal with the relative clauses guided by "personal pronouns" and the passive sentence patterns with "agent". Under the guidance of this general principle, the author deals with the former type of sentence patterns. According to the need to use the method of combining translation, sub-translation, ellipsis, compound reference, change the type of clauses, while in the treatment of the latter type of sentence, with the help of the use of emphasis structure. The main body of this translation report consists of four parts: the first chapter introduces the translation project; Chapter two describes the translation process; The third chapter takes "Information structure" as the theoretical framework, analyzes the translation cases and summarizes the corresponding translation methods. Chapter 4th is the conclusion, which briefly summarizes the findings and limitations of this report.
