【摘要】：本文是美國(guó)現(xiàn)代愛情小說《天賜蜜月》(The Honeymoon Prize)的翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告,報(bào)告涉及小說的前兩章內(nèi)容。原文是《蜜月四部曲》的第三部,作者是畢業(yè)于斯坦福大學(xué)機(jī)械工程專業(yè)的梅麗莎·麥克隆(Melissa McClone)。小說講述了作為保鏢的男主公尼克·卡爾霍恩(Nick Calhoun)由于工作需要,急需結(jié)婚成家。而女主公阿德萊德·辛克萊爾(Adalaide Sinclair)在祖母去世后無家可歸,隨即答應(yīng)了兒時(shí)的玩伴——尼克提出的無性婚姻的建議。二人贏得了一次為期十天的蜜月之旅。在這次的度假中男女主人公最終變友情為愛情,假戲真做,終成眷屬。選擇這部小說的第一、二章作為筆者的翻譯實(shí)踐報(bào)告,是因?yàn)樗恼Z言描述很具特色,對(duì)于不同人物的定位,其語言特色和表達(dá)能力都要有所區(qū)別,例如,情話的纏綿、謊話的粗制濫造、笑話的幽默等等。除了語言表達(dá),本報(bào)告還重點(diǎn)關(guān)注文學(xué)翻譯的基本方法,如文學(xué)作品的題目翻譯,意譯法和歸化法的使用等。本報(bào)告涉及了四個(gè)部分。第一部分是任務(wù)描述,包括選題原因與意義,作者介紹和小說介紹。第二部分是翻譯過程描述,包括譯前準(zhǔn)備、翻譯階段和譯后事項(xiàng)。第三部分是案例分析,這部分是本篇翻譯報(bào)告的重點(diǎn),筆者結(jié)合兩個(gè)重要的翻譯方法意譯法和歸化法對(duì)原文中的難句進(jìn)行分析,并在分析中對(duì)兩種翻譯方法進(jìn)行詳盡的介紹和對(duì)比。通過這次翻譯實(shí)踐,筆者對(duì)文學(xué)翻譯有了更深的認(rèn)識(shí),總結(jié)教訓(xùn),積累經(jīng)驗(yàn),不斷提升自己的英語翻譯能力,并為同類題材的翻譯提供參考和借鑒。
[Abstract]:This paper is a translation report of the American Modern Love novel "the Honeymoon Prize" (God-given Honeymoon). The report covers the first two chapters of the novel, which is the third of the Honeymoon Tetralogy. The writer is Melissa McCloneer, a mechanical engineering graduate from Stanford University. The novel tells the story of Nick Calhoun, the male bodyguard. Nick Calhoun. for work. There was an urgent need to get married and a family. Adelaide Sinclair, the matriarch, was left homeless after his grandmother's death. Then they agreed to the advice of their childhood playmate, Nick, for an asexual marriage. They won a 10-day honeymoon. During this holiday, the protagonists and heroines finally turned friendship into love and made a real fool of themselves. The first and second chapters of this novel are chosen as the translation practice report of this novel because its language description is very distinctive and its linguistic characteristics and expressive ability should be different for different characters. For example, love words, lies, jokes, and so on. In addition to language expression, the report also focuses on the basic methods of literary translation, such as the topic translation of literary works. The first part deals with the task description, including the reasons and significance of the selected topic, the author's introduction and the novel introduction. The second part is the translation process description. The third part is the case study, which is the focus of this translation report. The author analyzes the difficult sentences in the original text by combining two important translation methods, free translation and domestication, and introduces and compares the two translation methods in detail. The author has gained a deeper understanding of literary translation, summed up the lessons learned, accumulated experience, continuously improved his English translation ability, and provided reference and reference for the translation of similar subjects.
