【摘要】：移情指審美主體在審美認知過程中設想自己處于他人境地，，以理解其思想和情感。文化移情是指交際主體在交際過程中，自覺轉換文化立場，擺脫自身文化束縛，置身于目的語文化中，如實地感受、理解和領悟目的語文化。文化移情作為原語和譯語文化交流的紐帶，在翻譯中占據重要地位。翻譯作為跨文化交際的重要手段，不僅涉及兩種語言之間的轉換，更是一種文化移情過程。 《紅字》以其深邃的思想內涵、豐富的象征主義和獨特的創(chuàng)作風格，在世界文學史上占據重要地位。小說以獨特的視角向讀者展現了清教主義影響下16世紀新英格蘭殖民地的文化風貌�！都t字》問世以來，得到了文學界的普遍關注，并被譯成多國語言。國內至今出現許多中譯本，但是關于《紅字》的文化翻譯研究，尤其從文化移情角度探討卻很少。鑒于此，本文在已有研究成果的基礎上進行研究。 本文共五章。第一章簡要介紹了《紅字》及其作者、兩位譯者及其各自譯本。第二章為文獻綜述，首先介紹了文化移情的重要概念，然后詳細回顧了國內外對于翻譯的文化移情研究，并回顧了國內對于《紅字》的翻譯研究。第三章詳細論述了本文的理論框架文化移情，首先介紹了移情的成分，然后詳細闡述了翻譯中的文化移情及其存在的翻譯困難。第四章為本文的核心，從文化移情的視角對《紅字》譯本進行對比分析。通過分析，本文認為譯者在掌握原作者的意圖之后，既要移情于原語文化又要移情于目的語文化，采取最佳翻譯原則和策略，使目的語讀者在閱讀譯文時獲得的感受如同原語讀者閱讀原作所產生的一樣。另外，本文指出譯者進行文化移情時應堅持適度原則，并提高其文化移情意識及其能力。第五章為結束語，總結本文的研究發(fā)現，點明研究意義、不足之處及今后翻譯中文化移情研究的發(fā)展方向。 本文從文化移情的角度對譯本進行對比研究，探討譯者對《紅字》中有關文化成分的翻譯及其譯者文化移情的適度原則，有助于促使譯者培養(yǎng)文化移情意識和能力，同時也為外國文學翻譯研究開拓了一個新的視角，以期更好地促進中國同其它各國的文化交流。
